You can’t go wrong wether breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is very good. Fresh made and served nice and hot!!
Been here several times and always a good experience every time !!
Ask for Tyra if you want the best server in all of Lake Worth!! Always makes great recommendations with outstanding service!!
You ever go a place that has a 5 star ratings then buy I meal there and it’s not any good and you wonder how the hell did they get that high rating? Well this is not that place! This place really deserves its high rating. Here the Service is excellent the atmosphere excellent and best of all the food is the best deli I have eaten in years. I had myself a wonderful Rachel and oh my God was it fantastic. The half sour pickles were perfect The turkey wrap was wonderful, the potato salad hit the right spot and the coleslaw was wonderful. You really are not going to go wrong here everything about this place is perfect. Forget about 3 g’s forget about Ruben’s forget about Ben’s forget about Jacob’s forget about all of them. Come here you will really be satisfied with the food the service the atmosphere oh and the pricing reasonable for the excellent food that you’re getting I did not feel it was overpriced at all if anything it was just priced averagely for way above average food.
I came to try the pastrami sandwich and it not disappoint. I also tried the wedding soup and you can definitely taste the homemade. Our server Tyra was fantastic! I asked for a pickle and she brought me a plate of assorted pickles, a nice touch!
Great place, great Food and great service.
I think I just found my new go-to deli in Palm Beach County! I’ve been driving all the way from Lake Worth Beach to Delray whenever I crave a good bowl of chicken matzo ball soup or a grilled Reuben or open-faced turkey sandwich. For years, toojays was my reliable go-to for that classic Jewish deli experience, but in the past two years, in my opinion, their quality has really declined — so I’ve been on the hunt for a new favorite.
When I was recently craving soup, I decided to search online and stumbled across Gourmet Deli House — surprisingly close to me, though I had never noticed it before because the plaza looked a bit run-down from the road. I was shocked to learn this place has been here since 1985 and serves up a truly authentic New York-style deli experience.
From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. Our waitress, Geralyn, treated me like I was a regular — you’d honestly think she owned the place with how passionate and knowledgeable she was. She was so excited it was my first visit, and she walked me through the menu, from their open-faced lobster croissant (tempting, but too much for lunch!) to their daily dinner specials.
I started with the chicken barley soup, which tasted like my childhood. Then I had a grilled turkey Reuben, and it was absolutely perfect — fresh, flavorful, and on the most delicious homemade bread. I was already planning my next visit before I even finished eating.
This is the kind of place that’s not just about the food (though if I could give 10 stars for that, I would!) — it’s about warm service, spotless cleanliness, and a real sense of hospitality. I can’t wait to come back with my kids for a healthy, fresh, and affordable dinner. And next time, I’m definitely checking out the deli counter on my way out.
Highly, highly recommend Gourmet Deli House — a true hidden gem and my new favorite spot!
Anytime I am down in the area, I always stop here. The potato knish is as good as it gets.
The Rugelach is always fresh, and the crumb cake is as juicy, and tender as you can make crumb cake. Shanti at the counter, couldn’t have been more pleasant on my to go order. After finishing the sandwich in my hotel, I called back and Shanti said Mickelson made it.
He needs to be recognized for making that corned beef.
(It was worth spending a little more for extra meat!)
Look at the attached picture, that is a corned beef sandwich to be proud of!
Don’t miss this hidden gem!
