Really handy location near the theatres. The staff were friendly. Food and drinks came really quickly. Took a while for the table to be cleared and the bill brought to us. Toilets were clean but a bit squishy. There seemed to be only one men’s toilet so there was a bit of a queue. I liked how there were three veggie main options. I didn’t really like the veggie melt, you got a lot for your money but it tasted very vegetable-y and I wasn’t keen on the veggie patty, which is a bean burger. The sweet potato fries were OK, they didn’t taste of much. The milkshake was really nice though. The chicken burger was apparently quite nice, but was smaller than the veggie melt. With a 20% discount, two drinks, two burgers, and two fries, the total came to about £45.

Such a lovely little burger place on the Strand! I’ve been here a couple of times during my stay in London, and it always feels warm and welcoming. The food is great, the staff are friendly, and the place has such a cozy vibe. They even had a fun Halloween special burger this time. I loved that touch! Definitely one of those spots that makes you feel at home even when you’re far away.

We discovered this cosy little place on our walk around Covent Garden area and we really enjoyed our meal here. The food was tasty and staff very welcoming. We were served by Javed who was very attentive, friendly and we felt very well looked after during our visit.

Just landed in London and walked by this restaurant. We came for a quick bite to eat, but these burgers are definitely one of the BEST burgers we’ve had in the UK! We also ordered beers and they came literally before the waiter walked away from taking our order. Music and atmosphere was such a vibe, highly recommend!

Excellent burger served. I loved the taste and the juicy meat patties. And the Bacon? Don’t miss adding it to your burger.. it completes the burger. The servants are very friendly and the atmosphere is great. If you want halal meat, Gourmet Burger serves it.

I had a great experience at Gourmet Burger Club – Covent Garden! The food was absolutely delicious — the burger was juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The service was quick and very friendly, which made the whole visit even better. It’s such a nice spot to enjoy a tasty meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommend! ✨

There was a long queue to get into the restaurant but it didn’t take long to be seated. As the restaurant was busy, we were advised to order through the qr code which wasn’t a problem but we would have preferred to order through a member of staff.
Our meals arrived very quickly and they looked delicious. We enjoyed our burgers (the lockdown and the classic) but the experience and taste didn’t seem to equal the price. I would have appreciated a larger proportion of fries for nearly £4 as well.

I am surprised they have such high rating. Beef quality was average, the smash wasn’t truly a smash and was a bit hard, plus a bit salty. The wings were a bit on the salty and oily side. I went considering it’s halal but a bit disappointing.

Come try it! I don’t leave reviews often but this place deserves a good one, one of the best burgers in London.
And yet it’s often emptier than I expect.
While I’m happy that I always get seated, I worry the reason is because not enough people know about this place.
I hope this place doesn’t end up closing due to low footfall. It deserves to succeed 🙂

Just to add, I have tried and can confirm this is definitely better than the other nearby burger establishments: GR street burger, honest burger, five guys, shake shack, and of course Burger King / McDs etc. It is more expensive than them to be fair, but it’s nicer too.
What I had: Meltdown with Jalapeños. Loved it
My fiance loved her Club premium too, and wanted to come back here specifically for the onion rings
