We went to Gotti’s around 10:30 on a Saturday night. It was our first visit since it came under new ownership and the place has definitely been upgraded. New floors, fresh countertops, and a noticeably better vibe overall. The staff was friendly and attentive.
We each ordered a Beach Hippie and grabbed a table to play cards. For food, we tried the Peno Poppers: jalapeño halves stuffed with cheddar, breaded, and deep-fried. They were fantastic: crispy, cheesy, and just the right level of heat. Reasonably priced, too. We’d absolutely order them again.
The crowd felt improved from past visits. Sports were on TV, and the music was at a good volume: lively but not too loud to talk. The bartender will hold onto your card if you want to keep a tab open, but I prefer to pay as I go.
All in all, a great late-night spot that feels refreshed, friendly, and welcoming and improved clientele.

Sapphire was amazing. She made great recommendations as it was our first time here.
We got the smoked wings, absolutely insane.
Jalapeño poppers, very good.
Onion rings were soooo good.
The Anthony sandwich was insanely delicious. My wife doesn’t eat stuff like that and well that sandwich didn’t stand a chance.
10/10 will be back, no doubt about it.

We had such a great experience at Gotti’s Bar & Eatery! Chris and Isiah provided outstanding service — they were so friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was awesome! It’s a really fun spot, especially if you’re into sports. To top it all off, their logo features a Frenchie, which completely won us over. Cool vibe, great food, and amazing service — we’ll definitely be back!

Read about Sapphire from previous reviews and let me tell you she is the best! Great food and a lot of it! The cook even came out to talk about our meals. We had the smoked wings and mozzarella sticks as appetizers. Thumbs up to both. We also had the Lombardi, Bryant and Anthony sandwiches! Great toasted sandwiches! Definitely a must if in Deland area!

Fun spot. Nice people. Good drafts at fair prices. Didn’t try the food, but several people came in for lunch. College bar evenings when the kids are in, but during the day a nice stop if walking downtown. Right next to Tony’s great pizza spot including slices.
