I use to chase down their food truck now I can just walk in and order at their restaurant. 1st impression I was blown away of how clean it was inside. Service was fast. Food was hot and fresh. Crabby Fries and Butter Crunch Cake are still the best in the 757. The staff is great and the owner is right there checking on you. Black Owned. Dine in or carry out in Hampton or Chesapeake location. Got Fish?

We were greeted when we walked in & had the menu explained by a really nice lady. We got the seafood combo with crabby fries and whiting platter with grits and hushpuppies. The cornmeal batter is everything and the huge pieces of whiting were on another level. The butter crunch cake and toffee cookies… delicious! The entire restaurant (especially the restrooms) was spotless and the staff cleaned constantly. Great portion sizes and fair pricing as well. Great concepts…excellent customer service. I’d like to point out that their customer service is on par with Chik-fil-a. That means more to me than mostly anything else. So, I didn’t mind paying for the higher than expected prices. The food was a quality grade, even though I don’t like the cornmeal style breader on my fish. The shrimp and Crabby Fries were to die for. Next time, I’ll stick with the items that do not include fish. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. I can’t wait for the Chesapeake location to open. Overall…two thumbs up.

I’ve been here twice and on both occasions the service was beyond stellar. They were helpful, attentive, and made you feel like family. The food is consistently delicious, very well prepared, and full of flavor. I highly recommend Got Fish for an awesome vibe and great food!

4 Stars instead of 5 because you have to be very careful while eating the fish, there are lots of little bones. Unfortunately, you will have to navigate those little bones while enjoying your delicious meal. Typically not what most of us plan on doing when eating a fish sandwich.

Got a yearning in your belly for authentic Cajun seafood? I have the right place for you, Got Fish Seafood in Hampton, Virginia. The restaurant is located right off of I-64 located in the Hampton Town Center. I truly wasn’t expecting to walk in and find a beautifully designed modern masculine contemporary restaurant. Handcrafted oak counters, tables, and booths, accented with red, black, and white decor. A path led us around to the state of the art menu wall and a merch section that had cost-friendly items that will let everyone know why your smiling. Breathing in all I could smell was the cleanliness and fresh food. This restaurant has risen the bar on cleanliness and eye appeal, I then wondered if the food would be as comparable.
Having visited the website gotfishseafood.com my plan was to order what was on the website. Standing there looking at the beautiful dishes on the menu wall, I got lost in a sea of variety. My tummy took over my prior selections and chose the Seafood Trio and a side order of Crab Cakes. What a wonder did my belly find? The aroma forced me to speed home! Or that was the excuse that I had planned on telling the trooper if I was pulled over. LoL
Once home I could not wait to dive into the food like a child on Christmas morning. To see the care that was taken when placing the food in the cartons made me smile. It was unbelievable at how it was prepared and boxed just like the pictures on the website. Unable to wait any longer I broke off a piece of fish. It was excellently cooked to flakey perfection, coated in a Cajun batter and fried golden brown. The flavor was AWESOME!!! Next, the crab cake was calling my name. I could not resist taking a piece of Cory’s crab cake. LoL, I saved mine for the salad I made the next day. Yes, it was just as fresh and delicious. The crab cake was mostly meat with little to no filler. The flavor was all natural with a subtle hint of cajun. If you like hot sauce on your food you will be in heaven with this crab cake. But be ready to slap your grandmother because you’re gonna think she gave them the recipe.
Ok, I have to tell you about the Crabby fries. Yeah, I thought this was going to be something from SpongeBob Squarepants too! Far from it! Imagine waffle fries smothered by crab meat in a special sauce. And trust me when I tell you they did not skimp on the crab meat in the sauce.
I almost hate to mention it, I know it is going to be a best seller!! The pound cake is to die for!!!

This was me and my daughters first time and everything from start to finish was AMAZING!!! The staff is so incredibly inviting and warm. We were walked through the menu and ordered the seafood trio as recommended with an extra piece of fish since we were sharing. The portion is large so we really didn’t need it but were more than happy to take left overs! The crabby sauce….. my God. Just so good. You have to try it yourself! My daughter also grabbed a piece of butter cake which was heavenly. We’re hooked and you will be too!

My family and I came to Got Fish last Friday while on vacation! This place is amazing! Very clean stylish facility. When we first came through the door we were greeted and the employee….( I forgot her name) was so sweet. She told us about the menu and was so helpful. The food was amazing and cooked fresh! My daughter who isn’t a big seafood fan loved it and asked to go back the next day! Great friendly service, yummy food, and a great atmosphere! We’ll definitely be back!

This place was packed when we walked in….loved the atmosphere and the speed of the ladies who were working the registers! Our orders were correct and the service was fast! I had the fish po boy…fried Whiting with an amazing sauce….the fish was fried perfectly and was well seasoned…I also had the mac and cheese which had a twist to it but it was very good….it was very creamy and kinda melted in your mouth….delicious!! I also had the garlic parmesan corn …it was a little sweet but so good!!! I will be back!!!!

My first time here, I got the fish platter and it was amazing! It came with 2 huge pieces of whiting, 2 hush puppies and waffle fries and gotfish? Sauce. Everything was cooked and seasoned well and they are pretty generous with the portions. I will definitely be back to try their other dishes
