Great pizza and so much more. I like coming here and ordering something not on the menu. I love to be surprised and Anthony does a great job on that. Taste & Presentation are important to them. Mostly everything is made to order. That is what I love about this place. Here are just some of the great dishes I had.

So here we go with my review of got a guy eatery in calverton.
We decided to order three different sandwiches and ask chef Anthony to cut them into thirds. The bread he uses is my favorite. It’s that crusty Italian hero bread that they make the giant sandwiches on. Crisp in the oven it’s flaky and tender at the exact same time.
The first sandwich we ordered was the Havana conference. It is made of roasted pork prosciutto provolone and pickles with a spicy Dijon mustard on garlic bread and Cherry peppers. I will say the sandwich definitely had a kick. It was great though. It wasn’t so hot that you couldn’t enjoy it but it definitely had flavor.
The second sandwich we had was the eggplant springwich. This was not made with bread instead they use the eggplant as the bread. Two thin slices of eggplant lightly fried stuffed with fresh mozzarella tomato and baby spinach. It had a balsamic glaze that added just enough sweetness to it to make it awesome.
The third sandwich was the consigliere. It is grilled chicken with sauteed broccoli rabe mozzarella cheese lately coated with a fig jam. This by far was my favorite sandwich. The fig jam tied it all together and at first I really didn’t think this was going to go but it was amazing. I can’t wait to go back and have another one.
Kenny had the wings. The sauce had a nice heat level to it according to him. It is definitely fresh chicken and all white meat. Just such a great way to make them. My son prefers on the bone but said these were pretty good also. To him that’s a compliment LOL
We also ordered six garlic knots which were good. And my family likes to dip in tomato sauce and Anthony’s has a great taste.
We tried so hard to save room for dessert because her dessert menu is out of this world. Everything but the cheesecake is made by chef and the way he described some of them to me sounded like he creates them with love. I really want to go back there just for dessert.
While we were there I heard another customer speaking to Christine about safe Sundays. I had no idea what this was so after the customer left I asked.
It seems that got a guy understands some people have concerns. To ease their concerns this place closes their restaurant at 6:00. They sanitized the place including all touch points from 6:00 to 6:30. Then the restaurant is open to your family alone. She has done this for groups as small as two and as large as 15. The protocol she has in place are pretty impressive and it was so sweet to hear her talk about this.
Got a guy eatery is an awesome partner of this group. They are all for our group in Long Island Foodies discount and truly enjoy their customers. She showed me pictures from this Friday where they even had an Uber driver show up and play the piano while he waited for his order to be ready. What an awesome time.

Chef Anthony really does an amazing job! We heard of this place through the Long Island Foodies facebook group and had to try it.
The food is really great quality and amazing! It may take a little time to get your food, but it’s worth the wait.

Had an early dinner here today. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The two men working there (maybe owners?) Were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated for the holidays. I would recommend eating here.

This is my go to pizza place in the Riverhead area. I literally pass 6 pizza places to get to Got a Guy Eatery! Everything is good from the slices to a whole pie delivered. The food is amazing also. If you are in the area stop by!! I have to correct myself, this is not a pizza place, it’s a restaurant that serves pizza. Tonight I had Matzoah ball soup and a delicious pie. U can’t get that in a pizza shop. Big props to Christine and Anthony. Keep doin what your doin!!

This is your typical Italian themed restaurant Goodfellas Scarface godfather memorabilia etc. not your typical food the chef is a master of his kind with incredible dishes cooked perfectly there is something there to fix anybody’s need not just Italian the chef has a knack for spices and cooks things to perfection the atmosphere is that of a homestyle family kitchen the people are warm with a good sense of humor he will definitely have a good time it must try on the north east shore
