Best sandwich I’ve had in years in Louisville. I got the full Hot Italian and the portion was huge, every bite was incredible. Can’t wait to try more sandwiches

We got a cold roast beef hero and also a French dip. The roast beef hero had 1-2 slices of beef and was mostly a bread sandwich. For $14 it was definitely not worth it. You’ll get a lot more meat and more flavor from either a turkey sandwich at bean or even jersey Mike’s.
The French dip was decent but was missing umami flavor that makes a good one. Didn’t try the pastrami but Good Belly is the better option and they make their chips in house vs tiny bagged here.
I wanted to love it, it’s my neighborhood deli and I made sure to take pictures to add to the reviews but the cold cut was embarrassingly bad.

Today was my first time trying the Goss Ave Deli and I thought it was mighty tasty. I had ordered Louie’s French dip and I thought that it was one of the best French dips I’ve ever had. It was very flavorful and everything tasted fresh. I will definitely be coming back here to try out even more sandwiches.

Tried them out for the first time today and was impressed. Got the Leet’s Way and a BLT. Both sandwiches were well balanced and delicious. The pastrami was the high point. Felt like the price matched the quality of the food. Will be going back.

There is agood place if you want ny style deli. The pastrami and corned beef is a thinker slice. The cole slaw is not overly wet, it a mix of mayo and vinegar dressing. The tuna was good, but a bit wet. I will be back to try their beet rubin.
Please pay extra for their half sour pickle. You do get a spear with an order, which is a tease.
The serve cans of sodas, and havr dr.brown, they should get the entire dr brown lime.
Seating is at minimum but has outdoor seating
When facing the.building the entrance is on the left and up the ramp.

Great place to eat! The pastrami melts in your mouth and the service is quick. I’ve mostly gotten it to go but it’s got a cute dining room, too. Really happy to have another option in town that is reasonably priced and centrally located. Try the kim chi reuben!

Stopped in to get sandwiches for my husband and I. Ordered the vegetarian pastrami for my vegetarian husband made with beet pastrami and a French dip. The beet pastrami was different and delicious. The French dip was HUGE and incredibly delectable! Two meals for me! Also tried all their sides which were fab. Staff friendly! So glad to have a deli in our neighborhood!

The pastrami and corned beef are house made and excellent. Space is small with little indoor seating, but if you go on a nice day, there is plenty of seeding both out front and out back. Friendly staff!

Excited to have such a great deli in the neighborhood! Their sandwiches are so delicious that we asked them to cater a party this past weekend- it worked out perfectly. Thanks Goss Ave Deli 🙂

Honestly this is the best sandwich in Louisville. My husband and I didn’t know what to expect when we ordered the Hot Italian but it was so fabulous we talked about it every day for a week, we couldn’t get it out of our minds! We have since been back for another Hot Italian and it was just as delicious as the last. Do not skip this spot, they know what they’re doing!
