Social Profile:

Located under the Village Express Lift 4 with easy access via Misty Maiden, Butterfly, and Village Bypass ski-runs in the winter, this historic ranch serves up burgers, chili, bbq and other lunch fare in a rustic lodge with a large outdoor deck, historic Saloon and Outpost bars, and Gorrono’s famous “Snow Beach,” with our breathtaking views of the Wilson Range. Gorrono has become one of the best mid-mountain lodges at any ski resort in North America. The island vibe and live music bring the best of the beach to the slopes of Colorado. A party sure to never disappoint! Slide in for a quick bite or grab a drink and relax in the sun! Closed to the public for the summer, and will reopen at Thanksgiving.

Wonderful view, but the food was just ok, was pricy for what it was, and tables were very hard to find. There are better places on the mountain. They do serve a variety of food and alcohol and have (limited) indoor and outdoor seating.

Great place to take a break and grab something to eat on the slopes. Prices are high, and it’s sideways crowded, but the food is hot and good

If you want to wait 50 minutes for over priced chicken tenders, and fight others for a table, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I’d suggest continuing down the slopes and eating in mountain village. arguably the same costs, but better quality food, ample seating, and normal wait times.

Best margarita and setting combo in the USA! Nice generous pour with a Grand Marnier floater! Live music, sunshine and more skiing make this the best Margarita in the USA! See disappointing margarita in previous post and best Bloody Mary in next post!

Totally ruined the place when they went to using an app to order. The old buffet style was way better. Fighting for a table is ridiculous. We lunch in Mountain Village now.

The best restaurant on the slopes, way better than all the rest. Great food, cocktails and beer.

The food is solid enough for a quick bite, though priced how you might expect for on mountain dining. The table service and frequent live music are great though. You can order food on your smartphone.

The new online ordering system is terrible, at least when they are busy. We were quoted a 36 minute wait (at 2 PM!) but actually waited 70 mins. we were not alone. We would have made a different decision had we known.
