I was introduced to Asian foods and style as a child. I adored all the differences from what I considered ‘usual’ to my ‘white bread’ upbringing. Whereever I live, I always hope to seek out a great place for sushi, katsu, teriyaki, tempura, miso soup and atmosphere. Just happened upon Goro’s while online shopping in the area. Read the reviews and couldn’t wait. It was better than I’d hoped. Lovely intimate atmosphere, very kind and attentive service, and delicious food (meat AND veggies) and soup. Daily specials are ultra-affordable. Always a quasi-noisy bunch of happy diners …which I love. Owner/manager regularly circulated to make sure everyone is satisfied. Everyone says goodbye when we leave. I’m all in.

Best spot for sushi!! Nice hidden gem. If attending with a partner or friends, I recommend ordering multiple rolls to allow your group to try and enjoy different flavors. Highly recommend the Whatever Roll, those are the best.

Been coming here since 2016 and every time I come here it never disappoints. The food is always delicious from their signature sushi rolls and nigiri, to their Udon and Yakisoba noodle dishes, to even their Donbori and rice bowls. At this point I feel like ive tried one of everything from their menu and ive always been satisfied. Ive actually used this restaurant as the litmus test to get my friends to eat sushi. Overall you wont be disappointed
