We had our wedding reception here back in August and it was the best decision we made! Travis and Kelli were incredible!! They were so organized, communicative, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Kelli was even there the day of to make sure everything ran smoothly! The menu for our event was totally customizable (we even had a tasting to help decide), they allowed us to show up extra early the morning of to set up everything however we liked, and we were provided with amazing and friendly staff members. Oh and don’t even get me started with the gorgeous views, especially during sunset! Our guests were blown away! Everything exceeded our expectations! Thank you so much Gorges Beer co. staff!!!

Since we wanted a smaller ceremony/reception with 46 total attendees, we rented the 3rd floor dining room with adjoining bar and outdoor patio. We worked with Travis and Kelli on the details, mostly by email, and they were both very helpful and accommodating. Below is a list of various points that might help other couples choose this location:

1.) The venue is lovely and views are gorgeous!

2.) Price for a November wedding was really good, so much so that there was room in the budget to host the beer, cider and wine bar.

3.) We were able to bring all of our decorations the night before, but actual decorating needed to take place the day of starting 2 hours before the start of the event.

4.) Staff the day of was helpful, and flexible. Since our ceremony was in November and we wanted our ceremony to take place in the outdoor patio, there was a contingency plan for any possible rain. Turns out we didn’t need it, but staff was ready to set up for it.

5.) The third floor has its own private bathroom.

6.) If you have guests with mobility issues, there is an elevator.

7.) Let’s face it, we are dog people up here in the PNW! My brother was able to bring my furr-niece to the ceremony (couldn’t leave at home as they were from out of state) and she didn’t even need to stay on the patio.

8.) The venue provides rectangular tables only, no round tables. Our set up included the outdoor ceremony space, indoor tables, chairs, tablecloths, napkins, glassware and silverware.

9.) THE FOOD WAS GREAT!!!! Guests were commenting on that single fact for days afterwards. We did have a food tasting in March (before the start of wedding season), so we already knew it would be good.

10.) While views from the venue are lovely, I highly recommend also taking a detour and take your first-look pics on Thunder Island, which is almost directly across the street from the venue. It’s got fantastic views of the Bridge of the Gods, the Washington side of the Gorge, and the rest of the gorge.

Awesome views and spacious inside with 3 floors of seating to choose from. Love the Bridal Veils hazy and the Burger with fig jam, bacon, and goat cheese.

I can’t say enough good things about Gorges Beer as a top-tier wedding venue in the Columbia River Gorge. The location is beautiful and the owner and staff are the absolute best team to work with.

I’m not only a local photographer, but I also frequent this area of the gorge in my leisure time. Gorges Beer is one of my favorite locations for both a post-hike fantastic meal, and a wedding venue to shoot at.

The whole team is a joy to work with. They make the process of planning and setup for an event super easy and fun.

The food is MAGNIFICENT. Seriously. This place has some of the best food I’ve ever eaten at a wedding ever.

The venue size is super versatile too. From micro weddings to larger 100+ guest weddings, this place can do it all.

Also, this location is superb. Cascade Locks is a bit underrated in my opinion. It’s small, but has so many wonderful little places. And this venue itself is so close to so many amazing trails (less than 10 minutes from my own personal favorite waterfall in the gorge). Which makes a quick little getaway for some “just us” time for a couple on their wedding day super easy.

All in all, this is a marvelous choice for anyone wanting to get married in the gorge who wants great views, amazing food and drink, easy to work with management, access to nature, and the most relaxed and enjoyable wedding experience you can find.

We had our wedding welcome dinner at Gorges Beer Co. in April and are so happy with it! Gorges is an amazing venue, and the food and drinks are great. They have a large selection of beer on tap, which our guests thoroughly enjoyed. The wine was all sourced locally and delicious as well. We did our welcome party on the top floor, and the views of the mountains and sunset were incredible. The indoor/outoor vibe was perfect ambiance for our welcome party. Kelli and Travis were incredibly helpful in planning the event and really helped us customize everything to create the perfect welcome event for our family and friends. The top floor is a great place for a private party, and our guests could not stop talking about the view! We can’t wait to come back

My husband and I had our destination wedding reception here and it was the absolute best experience!! The managers were very flexible and easy to work with – they also worked really well with our wedding planner who was from out of state. They provided chairs to the off site venue and had employees manage the gate for entrance. We got SO MANY compliments on the food – everyone was saying it was hands down the best food they had ever had at a wedding. There was also ample volumes of food for everyone! The staff were so polite, helpful, and attentive. The ambiance on the upper deck was perfect for our small wedding, and they accommodated my request for a family style dinner. It was the best experience my husband and I could have asked for! Definitely consider Gorge’s for your next event or wedding!!

Fries are good, aesthetics and vibe are good. This chicken sandwich is somehow $18, here it is compared to the menu photo. I asked the waitress and she said that is indeed the standard size

We paid $2 for Fetta fries and this is how much Fetta was on them.

Asked for cheese on the side for one of our burgers too and had to scrape it off. We asked for 4 ranch cups multiple times and constantly just received one.

We paid over $100 for our group of 4 and the portions all seem small, maybe times are hard? But definitely not worth eating here for the price

As the owner said it has very pretty views, but that still doesn’t excuse the mediocre amount of food you get for the money you pay. Anyone debating on eating here take a look at the tiny tiny portions that gave for a 18$ chicken sandwich, or the slap in the face amount of Fetta you get on your fries

My husband and I just got married here last week. Everything from the planning, their team, the tastings, service…anything you could think of that’s part of a venue booking, they knocked straight out of the park. Travis, Kelly, and their team were sooo incredible and attentive. ALL of our guests had an incredible time + were so impressed with the service, food, drinks, and the VIEWS. This place will forever hold a special place in our hearts and all we can say is if you’re in the area, please please please stop by, you won’t regret it ♡

The food is 10/10.
We tried a little bit of everything and it was all delicious.
I would definitely stop here again just for the food.
The service was friendly, but very slow and inattentive.
Seems like mostly teenagers working their first job. Hopefully with time and experience, the service will get better.
