I discovered Gordy’s Warming House online. We stayed overnight in Cloquet we really wanted try it. We were NOT disappointed! Our specialty coffees were great! We ordered a small variety of baked goods and thoroughly enjoyed them. Cinnamon Apple scone, Blueberry scone, and a Pistachio muffin. They had a special that day; a free mini-cinn. roll with a drink order. YES, PLEASE!! (We split everthing and saved some for later.) Staff was super-friendly, helpful and we were served very quickly. Gordy’s Warming House has a relaxed, casual atmosphere and is decorated to have that warm “Up North” feel. So happy we stopped.

Pumpkin Dirty Chai was fantastic along with the cookie and muffin. The young lady who served us was so sweet and chipper as well. Last night the young man who served us ice cream was awesome as well. Staff all around 5 stars!! We will be back again for treats and coffee.

Got a three scoop cup of ice cream that didn’t even come to the top of the cup, yet I saw multiple other people (including in my party) who did receive full, over the top, cups of ice cream. Total rip off for over $6 especially after generous portions at Gordy’s Hi-Hat. Skip the warming house and just get burgers next time.

I love the warming house. Been going there for years. Food coffee, soups, salads and sandwiches. They have ice cream too! Combined with The High Hat this is the place to go when headed north. WH is a good place to read and chat and work. They have outdoor seating, a dog park, expanded bathrooms. They also have really tasty seasonal coffee drinks. Highly recommended.

I visited the warming house on a Friday morning. The service was quick and friendly. My favorite part about the warming house is that they allow dogs inside and have a small fenced in off leash dog area in the back. It’s not a massive space, but it’s plenty for a dog to stretch their legs and have a little running space. The drink I had, a soy chai, was great however I deducted a star because the food options seemed limited

Stopped at the dog park that is there. Great dog park. Not a huge dog park but perfect for a dozen dogs. Lots of natural obstacles, well maintained, no running water but they provide a big jug and bowls. Also picked up a couple malts while there, they were good.
