this place was pretty good. it’s a humble little food truck with a little restaurant. It tasted really fresh. Lettuce was crisp and tomatoes weren’t soggy. Cheese to meat ratio was good and toppings to chip ratio was very good. It was super filling. They had hot Cheetos with cheese and charro beans so I tried them out too. Hot Cheetos and cheese is hard to mess up tbh but I’ve had some bad ones around the area so I’m glad these were good. The beans were good I’ve never had them with ham so I liked trying something different. Normally I make mine with bacon. These beans had no spiciness though but they give you some salsa verde. My hubs got the special plate and I tried his taco and it was pretty good! Gordita was pretty and pressed perfectly. My only wish is if the beans had a little more love into them. I kind of feel like they were can tbh. Still good just didn’t give me that 956 feel I was looking for yet. Even though I think these were canned it wasn’t bad and the portion was great for the price! Really great place!

!!POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, FOOD WAS EVEN WORSE!! ONLY GET SNECKS FROM THE BUILDING NEXTDOOR!!!
I never thought a taco truck in San Antonio would disappoint and disgrace tex-mex cuisine this badly. Upon arrival my wife and I waited behind 1 other person at the window to place our order it was a busy Saturday night at 10pm. When we got to the window, the lady with the black hat that was taking orders rammed another customers order in my face looked at me and looked at the lady behind me as she was waiting her turn just like we did ours she looked at the lady picking up her food behind us signaling her to hurry and grab her food. Not a problem that the lady could have said excuse me but I thought there might have been a language barrier, once she started speaking to us that was not the case. We waited over 45 minutes for a burrito and nachos. As I departed to the window to grab my food there was another customer that went to the window besides us and she just looked at him and started talking to us to give us our food. This lady has no respect nor any sense of politeness, you would say excuse me when shoving food to another customer past someone else’s face and when a new customer arrives you would acknowledge them with “hello I will be with you in just a second” instead this lady just looks and acts mute. Not a problem bad customer service is a thing sometimes especially on a Saturday night she might be having a day. We got home and I bit into my burrito the first time the meat was very chewy that’s OK maybe it was just a bad section of meat, after taking 2 more bites I ripped the burrito open to find that all the meat in the burrito was just fatty meat(cheap meat) that’s very chewy and had other sections of meat attached. As I continued to eat some of my burrito it just got worse, I never thought food can taste even worse as you continue eating. The food was not cheap either at 11$ a plate I expected more. If this taco truck was not deep on the east side where I don’t think most of their clientele is mexican/Hispanic and is more African American they would have been closed down from lack of business, however I don’t think the clientele grew up eating Mexican food so they wouldn’t be able to tell the difference from good nor bad Mexican food/tex-mex. We got a raspa from the stand next store and a cucumber cup don’t get anything from the taco truck just go for snacks.

I’ll rate again, once the problem is corrected and fixed. I’ll post three pictures and you can tell me the difference. And this is two reviews in one , this was my third time going. First off I’d say I’d absolutely love this place. From the quick snacks to the food. I’ve had the Brittany special it was amazing. (Im a fat girl, it was refreshing and so tasty. My man loved it as well. The second time I got pina loca , I fell in love with it. OMG. SO FKIN DELICIOUS. It had some kinda cucumber nada and shaved ice with like some kind of raspa syrup. And cut up strawberries, mango, pineapple covered with chamoy. It was A1. Tonight I go and I first ask do you have pineapples? Cashier said yes I said oh yes I’ll take two pina loca. She said oh I’m sorry not those I’m like damn. I walked to the car sad , and then my guy said ask if we buy the pineapple, can they make it? I’m like oh okay. Walked back over and cashier SAID YES. we go to HEB AND WE GRAB TWO JUICY SWEET PINAPPLES. TAKE EM BACK & she said oh I called the owner and they brought pineapple . I’m like oh okay. Could have done that at first, but ok I take the pineapples I bought
AND I SIT AND WAIT IN THE CAR15 mins pass I go grab my 2 pina loca & I IMMEDIATELY KNEW IT WAS GONNA BE A DISAPPOINTMENT. I go home put in freezer and relax and I eat it. It was fruit in a pineapple. I could have did that at home. It had no shaved ice, no cucumbernada no fruit covered in chamoy.. Just fruit with a bit of chamoy on there. I’m very disappointed, I was definitely craving and I’m a loyal and respectful customer. Picture are the pineapples i bought. The 2nd time we got pina loca. Then the very first

Prices on the menu are not correct! They also have a sign by the register stating prices subject to change, meaning they can essentially be whatever they decide to charge on that night. During our visit, it seemed like everything on the menu was $2 more than advertised. Quesabirrias were $14 and they were basically mini tacos. Very overpriced for what we got and the wait was atrocious. Almost 40 minutes for an order of quesabirrias and a large quesadilla. Many other places to visit around this area for cheaper and quicker service.

I ordered the special plate, which comes with two tacos (with meat of your choice), quesadilla (with meat of your choice), a Gordita (with meat of your choice) came with a cup of charro beans (yummy!), and my hubby ordered quesa birrias and a shrimp quesadilla (no photo included). Over all, the food was good. We’ll be going back to try the other foods they have too! While the quesadilla’s (shrimp and the Asada) were not our favorite, but it was good.

This place is SO GOOD. It costs $8 to buy 5 mini tacos and a cup of (actually good and tasty) charro beans. I bought the special plate to try a little bit of everything and it is so much food. It was delicious. The customer service was great as well! This was our first time here and we are definitely coming back. Super cheap for really great quality street tacos.

The food was very tasty. The flavors were better than most brick and mortar restaurants right from the food truck, with a snack bar at their building right next to the food truck. Great patio area and they open for evenings so the area is fairly cool, surprisingly better than expected! I may have found a new favorite late night taco house! Their gorditas and street tacos were incredible.

I got the special plate that included 2 tacos (chose al pastor), 1 quesadilla (chose asada), and 1 gordita(chose asada) with charro beans. Al pastor tacos were great with some lime and the salsa included in the order. Good balance of spicy, yet flavorful. Quesadilla was good as well but I would go with al pastor instead of asada. Gordita was well made. Friole preparado tasted great with the asada, avocado and queso inside. Overall, good food and atmosphere. Side note, main food dishes are at the food truck and they also sell different drinks/snacks/sweets at the building window. Good customer service
