Everything from this place was top service!
The food was amazing!
My husband who is not a foodie also loved everything including the rice and he hates rice, he said it reminded him of the rice his grandma used to make
We tried the Gorditas desebrada, fajita, Chile verde, Chile rojo and chicharon everything was seasoned well and fresh!
I got the menudo with a little bit of hominy and it was just like the one I eat in Mexico the flavor was perfect the meat was tender and not chewy and there was no aftertaste like some menudos I’ve tried in the past

Been going regularly. Literally the best pastor and fajita tacos in town by far and the cheapest in the area as well. Salsas are on point. Owner is super chill gives me free food occasionally.

Tried the gorditas plate. The gorditas were hot of the comal- and pretty good flavor. The texture was deliciously crispy and chewy- good masa. The carne desebrada was good but a little skimpy on the meat. The chicharrón gordita- yummy-it had a little richer flavor. The horchata price was a bit steep especially since it wasn’t homemade and lacked cinnamon. I would skip the drinks and save my pennies for the food next time. Will definitely come back. They have menudo on the weekends and everyone raves about it. The dining area and the bathrooms are clean. Also the plates are super cute!
Update- tried gorditas plate again. I recommend the guiso rojo and chicharrón -both very flavorful. The nopales were pretty good. Salsas are tasty but chips were stale this visit. They didn’t have the same presentation on the clay plates but still ok. This time no cheese on beans, just grilled onions. No quite consistent.

Best gorditas and fajita steak burritos I’ve ever had!!!! The rice and beans were PERFECT as well!!! The limes were juciy and fresh! The grilled onions were cooked to perfection!! So much food per plate!! Served on nice glass plates!! The green and red sauce was LEGIT!!!! MADE IN HOUSE AND SO DELICIOUS!!! This spot is severely underrated! The entire restaurant was VERY nice!!! Nice tables, seats, atmosphere and the bathrooms were immaculate. Nice tile floors and wooden walls and accents. Insanely nice place to eat. The owners were so kind and helpful with recommendations on what to eat. Will be back for sure!! TRY THE DESEBRADA GORDITAS!!!!!

My mother took me here for breakfast and I’m so happy she did! This little gem is tucked away in the Big Lots shopping center in Lewisville. I would’ve passed by and not noticed but if you get a chance give it a try. The horchata was so good that my son took mine when I wasn’t looking lol

My husband and come here often, it’s on of our most favourite spots. The service is always really good and everyone is very kind. It’s such a nice family vibe and the food is delicious. Love this place so much!

The good: food was amazing. Fresh. Fast. Extremely kind staff. The food was prepared perfectly, the salsa had a great flavor and a nice kick. I 1000% recommend trying the coffee. Black with some sugar. Trust me on this.
The potential bad (for some people): limited menu. They don’t have much, but what they have, they do extremely well. Limited drink selection. Only bottled drinks and Mexican flavored waters.
Overall, if you want to support a good small business and want some authentic tasting food, I can not recommend this place enough. It has absolutely become a staple in my rotation when I’m in the Lewisville/flower Mound area.

The tacos here are sooo yummy! We usually order for pick up but decided to dine in. The tacos were even more tasty. I’m very picky with menudo and didn’t enjoy mine as much as my husband did so I think that’s a personal preference. The place is clean and inviting & I will keep coming here for warm & yummy tacos! I really want to try a torta next!
