We were in the area and decided to stop at Doña Tota, this was our first visit. My husband and I ordered gorditas. They have multiple fillings to choose from for the gorditas. My favorite was rajas con queso and bean and cheese. My husband enjoyed the green chile and meat. The restaurant was clean and the employees were nice. I definitely recommend to eat some gorditas at Doña Tota, my husband and I will be back.

Good gorditas! They are deceptively small from pictures, so I’ve attached photos. One gordita is approximately the size of an adult male’s palm. But they are flavorful and juicy, without need for added sauce or toppings. Served in what appears and tastes to be delicious, corn gordita bread.

Absolutely delicious! We were the only ones there on a Tuesday at 8pm. The staff explained the options to us and I ordered the chicharrón crujiente and chicharrón en salsa verde. I really enjoyed the crunchy one. Food came fast and there were 3 kinds of sauce to choose from.

Place was nice and clean. My husband wanted chorizo with potatoes and got told they were out by the lady in the front, but then a different staff member (maybe manager) said they can make one more. So that was definitely sweet and well appreciated. We loved the big Vírgencita picture they have displayed at the entrance. Food was great but we weren’t really fans of the dried chicharon (maybe next time we’ll get the chicharron with salsa).

We have ordered Gorditas from Doña Tota 1604 location for our group activities. The food is delicious and the customer service is wonderful. The team at Doña Tota always sends everything we need in our orders. Our group members love chicharrón in salsa verde, desebrada, picadillo, beans and cheese. Nopalitos are my favorite! Delicious Gorditas!

Great gorditas…small but super flavorful. We had chicharron en salsa verde (pork in green salsa), desebrada en salsa roja (shredded beef in red salsa), rajas con queso (sliced poblano peppers with white cheese), carnitas adobadas roja (pork meat in spicy red salsa). Side dishes fideo and avocado with tortilla chips. Drinks….aquas frescas. Everything was delicious and all priced under $12. Thursday special!!! Wow
