My husband brought us brunch from this place. It was so delicious! The gorditas we got were mixed, different dishes (asado de Puerto, carnitas de puerco with just enough of a kick, picadillo) to name of few. And to top that off, a gordita de asucar with carmel dip. (Shown in pic below) The portions were appropriate; the taste is what makes it worth it!
Highly recommend you make this one of your favorite spots when you’re in Weslaco. Def go their for lunch!!

Wow ordered 4 picadillo gorditas I added if they can put queso fresco thinking ohh its going to have a good amount. Wrong paid 24 dollars for zero queso fresco !!. What a rip off and on top of that terrible service!!!.

First off the food doesn’t have flavor. I got chorizo with egg @ 9am food should always be fresh!! The chorizo and egg was overcooked & salty! Their agua frescas arent frescas I got an horchata & it tasted horrible like it was expired que asco!!!! We live not even a minute away and gordita was already soggy by the time we arrived home. Their hot sauce is watery with no flavor. & to top it off their prices changed in store compared too online for such tiny gorditas I guess… over charged for food that was not fresh & had an off taste what a disappointment! DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARN MONEY OR TIME I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m not one to write a review but this is too much, under new management and they don’t know how to run this place, my order was wrong very rude employees previous management ran this store better. To top it off they are dirty employee charged me with gloves on then wanted to prepared my order with gloves. Got bother when I asked her to please change the gloves. Over priced for what you get Gorditas don’t have any filling. Not going back I been a loyal customer but this is the 3rd time in 2 weeks.

So we get here because I’m craving some of their delicious and succulent gorditas, only to be shot down by their rude customer service. It’s literally 9 A.M breakfast time and walking up it looks good till we see some stale old egg and potatoes and egg and chorizo in tuberwear and zip lock bags. We asked if they can make new egg and they so boldly stated “that’s all the egg we have!!!” Lol what kind of joint saves old egg and then thaws it out in the front to sell?? Utterly disgusting of a place and workers!! I would not recommend a place like this to anyone, the egg was meant for my kids from a baby to a 7yr old. If this place doesn’t prosper it wouldn’t surprise me if it closes out.

I’ve never been so disappointed with a restaurant. My order was messed up twice and not only did I leave frustrated with the lack of attention to detail, but what I did manage to eat gave me food poisoning.
I am spending the night (face in toilet or hovering – whichever hits me first) with severe stomach issues and regret. This level of carelessness is unacceptable, both in service and food safety. I won’t be coming back, and I strongly advise others to think twice before eating here.

Not one to write reviews but this place had horrible service. I ordered with my family me being the first one to order however they didn’t jot it down. I am thoroughly disappointed with the experience. Not only was my order incorrect, but the wait time was incredibly slow.
When the food finally arrived, it was not what I had ordered. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive, and when I pointed out the mistake, they were unapologetic and unhelpful. The overall atmosphere was chaotic although there wasn’t anyone else ordering, and it was clear that the team was not equipped to handle even a moderate amount of customers.
I understand that mistakes happen, but the combination of slow service and incorrect orders made for a frustrating dining experience. I hope the management takes steps to address these issues, but I will not be returning to anytime soon.
