Cuisine of North & South India, a buffet & vegan options served in traditional digs since 1994.

I noticed that the buffet felt a bit incomplete probably because I came in during lunch. I think there’s more dishes available during dinner but I’m not certain. I noticed that some dishes like mushroom and broccoli was not authentic at all, which was disappointing. As for the rest of the food, it was decent. At least the desserts were good though.

As soon as we entered the restaurant, the aroma of authentic Indian spices hit us, of course in a pleasant way! We had ordered Chicken and Vegetable Biryani and both were very good. Both were served along with a tasty and thick raita (a salty yogurt accomplishment along with a Biryani), and it went well. Vegetable Biryani wasn’t served with additional gravy, which should have been done.
Menu has ample vegetarian options. We were satisfied, being vegetarian. Our Son is a non vegetarian and he too found the NV options Good. They also have buffet option, which looked quite sumptuous, but we choose ala carte.
Ambience of the restaurant was good and with pictures of the traditional temples / monuments of South India on the walls and a Tanjore Painting, it gave an authentic Indian feel to the whole atmosphere.
Service could have been a bit faster, in terms of food. Otherwise the service was quite prompt.
Overall a good experience of Indian flavour in Oklahoma City.
Ample parking available.

Ngl was nervous. I’m not one to try new things but my husband swears by this place so we popped in for lunch. And let me tell you, the spices and the flavor of this food was bomb. If you are concerned about trying something new just ask around to see the best options but trust me as a certified picky eater, place is goated:0

Amazing Authentic Indian Cuisine!
Gopuram in Oklahoma is hands down one of the best places to experience authentic Indian food! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, and everything I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. The flavors are rich, and the spices are perfectly balanced.
The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you have a great dining experience. Whether you’re a fan of traditional dishes like butter chicken, tandoori, or looking to explore new flavors, Gopuram has something for everyone. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality Indian cuisine!

Tried this Indian buffet recently and, unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. Most dishes lacked flavor and didn’t feel fresh, which was surprising given the variety offered. That said, the service was outstanding — the staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was well taken care of. I really wish the food quality matched the level of service, because the team clearly puts in the effort.

I’ve had a variety of food from here. Dining in options are always better than take out or the buffet since the food is made to order. I’ve gotten samosa chaat here twice recently and both times it’s tasted different. The chicken tikka masala is really good when ordered as an entree. Naans can be over buttered sometimes but are tasty, could be a bit bigger for the price. The desserts are hit or miss, I like the gulab jamuns I just wish they weren’t super watery. Definitely recommend dining in, the management team and staff do their best to accommodate you to your taste.

I am in love with their food. We come here for lunch during work often. It’s a hidden gem in OKC. We always get the buffet and it’s just amazing food. The quality is very good. The restaurant is clean and the servers are very polite. My only complaint is the side of town they are on and the outside of the building is not welcoming at all. The homeless walk around their parking lot, sometimes asking for money. The drabby entrance to the restaurant makes it look like the restaurant is shut down but then you walk into a nicely decorated place. We hope this place stays open. I wish they would move to a better location. But the food is delicious and we will keep coming back.

Delicious buffet. Somewhat mild compared to other Indian food I’ve had, but well suited to a westerner’s palate. Service was good. It’s a buffet, so self serve. But the server came around for beverage refills, and to offer us bread and tandoori chicken. The atmosphere is a little bare, rough and worn, but not uncomfortable. For $16 for an all you can eat lunch buffet, I’ll be back.

Don’t judge by exterior. Inside the place is clean, well decorated, and deliciously aromatic.
They have buffet, bar service, and a full food menu available.
We ordered from menu and the food was tasty and fresh. Seven is hot enough so venture higher on the heat scale at your own risk (they offer 1-10).
We’ll be back!!

We went for dinner buffet. The food on the buffet at first glance looked minimal. Some vegetable options and nothing looked fresh. We went ahead and thought we’d try it. I got the fried spinach and it was cold. The rice was lukewarm and the chicken masala the same. I was getting my plate and saw this roach crawling on the plates. It ran off and onto the buffet and I killed it- see pic. I told the older gentleman working and he just said oh I’m sorry. Wiped it off and didn’t replace the plates or sanitize. When we were leaving he didn’t offer to comp the meal or a discount – obviously with the limited food on the buffet and the cold food- and a health issue- roaches, you’d think he’d say more. He says “I’m sorry we sprayed earlier for roaches”. We’re hoping we don’t get sick. There was only one other couple in the restaurant but if your going to have a buffet make sure it’s worth the $17 a piece that you charge and it’s warm- do the right thing by your customers and their health and safety, clean up area and take plates away that had been crawled on by the roaches. we left concerned for everyone and $35 for a small amount of food- won’t be back. Also, the pictures on website show a beautifully landscaped restaurant that’s lit up and nice. This place is bare. No landscaping and the outside looks in disrepair. Nothing welcoming about it. It used to be better when it was on nw 23rd in a different building years ago. Now it’s on skid row with homeless all around it.
