Been wanting to try this spot.
Food was 10/10, and the spicy kimchi stew was honestly 11/10 (that was my favorite) super flavorful, rich, and comforting. The meat was great quality and perfectly cooked by the staff, which made the whole meal even better.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always checking in and making sure everything was cooked just right. The ambience is very comforting, fancy-ish making it a great spot for a nice dinner.
Highly recommend if youre craving for a quality korean bbq .

this was an immaculate Korean barbecue experience. It was my first time going to a place where they cook the food for you and I absolutely loved that but you could also cook it yourself if you wanted. We did the beef for three and it’s definitely on the pricier side compared, but the quality shows and it comes corn cheese and steamed egg and also with amazing Banchan, which she told us it rotates daily. The service was good. We basically got our food right away and it was just an immaculate experience. They give you some flaky sea salt and other sauces to dip in and I was just a huge fan of this, but honestly, I will be going back soon.

We ordered the marinated short ribs and snowflake beef, and both were absolutely delicious! The manager & staff were very friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable!
The side dishes were clean and well-prepared, and the steamed egg and soybean paste stew were especially impressive—perfectly seasoned and not too salty.
The interior is modern, comfortable, and welcoming. Perfect for family, friends, coworkers, or even dining alone. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be back!

I went to Gopchang Story in Fort Lee and had the beef platter and assorted intestines, and everything was excellent. The quality of the meat was really fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The assorted intestines were especially well cleaned and cooked, which made them super enjoyable.
The service was great too. Iva was attentive, friendly, and checked in often without being overbearing. She helped with grilling and made sure everything came out just right.

The food was INCREDIBLE. From the presentation of it to the taste, I enjoyed everything I tried. The beef tartare sushi is a must try appetizer. We loved it. The meats were all delicious as well. I highly recommend the steamed eggs as well as the cheese corn. The customer service was outstanding. We will definitely be back next time we visit Fort Lee. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As someone who grew up loving Korean BBQ, I’ve tried a lot of spots… but Gopchang Story in Fort Lee seriously blew me away! The banchan spread is incredible SPICY MARINATED CRAB included (yes, in the banchan!) and even corn cheese. Every dish, from the sizzling gopchang to the daechang and classic cuts, was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked.
The staff were super attentive, the atmosphere was fun and lively, and I love that they’re adding late-night hours with an in-house bar soon. Definitely a new go-to for authentic Korean BBQ lovers in NJ!

Excellent service paired with incredible flavors! I surprised my friend with a dinner here, after initial intrigue during a walk through town with my partner. Several visits later (sometimes twice in a week) and this place has quickly become my happy place. My guests & I are always welcomed with a smile by Jason while we are served by him & Laura, who are both kind, courteous, and always ensure our dinners are cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is lovely, featuring private dining rooms for larger parties and cozy seating when it’s just two of us. The service is quick and as soon as a side dish is finished it’s replaced with another before I can even blink. I could really eat here every day and be satisfied. I can’t get enough of the brisket, the intestines are crispy, the skirt steak is top notch, and the marinated short ribs & hanger steak are divine. Laura’s cheerful demeanor truly makes eating here delightful. Her and Jason always makes sure we leave with bellies full. Amazing bang for your buck. Can’t wait til my next visit!

I’m usually not a big fan of beef tripe, but this place completely changed my mind. Everything was so delicious, and finishing with the fried rice made it a truly perfect dinner.
I can confidently say there’s no place in New Jersey that beats this spot in terms of quality, service, price, and atmosphere.
