I ordered char kuey teow to go. Very delicious flat rice noodles with smoky flavor. Ingredients include shrimps, Chinese sausage, bean sprouts and eggs.

This place only opens on the weekend. I came here many times on a Monday or Tuesday and it was closed. The char koay teow is legit. Taste very authentic. The noodle has the smoky “wok hey”. Look at how the chef controls the wolf and fire. He sure knows how to do it the right way. They added big shrimps and some Chinese sausages to the noodles – exactly how they do it in Malaysia. Price is high at $18 + tax.
I find the dining area a bit dark thus the photo of the CKT didn’t turn out great. Plenty of seatings. All self service. Self order on the kiosk and pick up at the counter.

If you familiar with south east Asian food than you know Kuey Teow . Char Kuey Teow aka fried fat flat noodles is one of the dishes famous in Malaysia and Singapore. Google man is Malaysian type. We got the hokkien noodles ($15) which were full of umami and bursting flavors. I love the thick Shanghai noodles. Everything in the bowl was properly marinated. It came with an additional sauce that had the stinky shrimp paste taste/smell so I did not use that but my husband did.

Located in Famous Food Street Eats, this food stall is tucked in the corner and it certainly deserves a spotlight.
$16 — Hokkien Noodles. The portion is very filling for one person or perfect as a sample for two people. Again, these pieces of shrimp are HUGE and the whole dish is very flavorful. Arguably one of the best dishes I’ve had in FF so far.
I rarely say this about noodles but it is really worth visiting. I definitely can’t wait to come back a third time.

We decided to have an early lunch around 11am before driving for a road trip and the food stalls were just opened at 11am. I ordered Char Kuey Teow from the tablet and got my food in about 15 mins.
Once I got the food, I noticed that the portion was pretty small for the price. From the first bite, I was a bit surprised because it was pretty spicy. The char kuey teow that I had many time before was not spicy. The noodle itself was pretty good and flavorful. I could taste the smokiness from the wok and the sauce was a mixed of salty & a hint of sweetness. However, the protein was cut up in tiny pieces and I wish they gave more egg. So far, this was a better meal compared to other vendors in the food court.

Great Malaysian food that is always made fresh and tasty. The Randang beef or chicken are amazing as well as the Nasi Lamak, both of these dishes are delicious and hit that spicy itch u want to scratch.
