Located right on Ala Moana boulevard next to the Hilton Grand vacations club, Goofy Cafe and Dine is a cozy , and hidden spot known for their breakfast and lunch options with choices of many tropical drinks and cocktails and locally brewed beer as well as their well known homemade fresh lemonade.

If you’re here for breakfast definitely try their eggs Benedict with selection of bacon and spinach, salmon and spinach, kalua pork, or crab cake with real snow crab. We ordered their salmon and spinach option and the lilikoi butter is a great touch to the eggs Benedict.

Also try their Big Island Beef Loco Moco which comes with homemade patties made with big island beef two eggs and served over brown rice. Personally, didn’t like their brown gravy still overall was good meal.

They have a wide selection of acai bowls as well with personal favorite being Niu Acai Bowl.

If you’re here for lunch definitely try the Green Spaghetti which is homemade or pesto with Hawaiian macadamia nuts and shrimp topped with Parmesan cheese.

If you want to beat the line, you can come early and put your name on the sign up sheet.

Goofy’s is a hidden gem! We loved the authentic surf atmosphere—super relaxed and cozy. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food tastes super fresh and clearly cooked from scratch with love. Best meal we have had on Oahu.

We had the Loco Moco (the best we’ve ever had!), the Pesto Shrimp which was so fragrant, and the Kale Strawberry Salad—those kale chips on top are a game changer! Don’t skip the Onion Rings either; they’re super crispy and come with great ranch. Hands down the best meal we’ve had on Oahu! I want to go back and try the French Toast and Mahi.

I wish we had found it sooner so we could eat more often. Very close to the Hilton Hawaiian. Works for families with kids too!

Hands-down the single best breakfast we’ve ever eaten—anywhere, ever.
The Eggs Benedict with pork was cooked to absolute perfection: silky hollandaise, perfectly poached eggs, and that pork was so tender and flavorful it basically melted in your mouth. The smoothie was fresh, vibrant, and honestly one of the best we’ve ever had. Then came the burger patty with fried egg and gravy—pure comfort-food heaven on a plate. Every bite was a huge, ridiculous hit. We’re still thinking about it hours later.

Service was warm, genuine, and full of real smiles—like everyone working there actually loves what they do. We got incredibly lucky and walked right in, but by the time we left there was a long line out the door. Trust me: plan ahead and get here early, because this place is worth any wait.

If I could give more than five stars, I would. Easily the meal of the trip—maybe the meal of the decade. Run, don’t walk.

This is a vibe. Staff here are very kind, considering having to deal with droves of tourists. It’s worth every second of the wait. The menu is legit. I had the Big Island Beef Moco Loco and fresh grapefruit juice. Its small and quaint open air on second floor. I must try!

This is super cute place! Its much smaller than expected so expect a wait. The food is just ok and not really worth the price for what you get. If youre in town on vacation you should try it but I cant see it being very popular for locals.

Midwesterner review…. Awesome breakfast “hole in the wall” from home we would call it. Way better deal than big restaurants on the strip and hotels plus atmosphere and hospitality is here! French toast mixed berry or Hawaiian with maple syrup is awesome plus the Portuguese sausage! Eggs Benedict also amazing! Mahalo

waited for ~45 minutes on a sunday morning, but was worth checking out! the loco moco was good, as were the cocktails. a bit on the pricier side, with drinks reaching $15-20 and entrees in the $20s range.

Don’t let the name make you think this place isn’t worth the trip, it definitely is. Walk up, sign the wait-list and wait to get seated. We had bfast here twice this week. The acai bowls are huge, and they are not shy with the amount of fruit added to the acai bowls, or the French toast, so your money is well spent. Coffee is good, the open-air atmosphere is very relaxed. It’s an older building, but done up nicely inside.

Hit this place right in the middle of my morning run. The Hawaiian Omelette was soooo good and the Taro Muffin substitute – go for it! That muffin was so good I ran with the other half in my pocket on the way home… not recommended but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. This place filled my tummy in a way it hasnt been filled in a while, you know that good full feeling that reaches your heart? Yeah, that one.
I came by myself and got a table in about 15-20 minutes (Arrived around 7:45am). The staff is so friendly and add to the ambiance. Definitely hit it up. This visit I went with savory, next time I wanna try the sweet stuff
