Good local eatery in Plainfield. I stopped in for breakfast a little while back on the way to visit relatives. Had a skillet with a side of toast, which was all well made and hit the spot. My server was very sweet and upbeat, and the gentleman working the register had a kindly demeanor as well. The decor and style is somewhat basic, but it is nice and clean nevertheless.

Great prices for what you get. I had the ribs which was the special on Monday. They were tender with a sweet BBQ sauce. My wife’s omelet was big and filling with the pancakes too plus hash brown it was too much for her to finish. Nice to be able to go to a local place that is not a national chain.

The food is pretty good, prices are reasonable, portions are huge, and the atmosphere takes me back. You don’t see too many restaurants like this anymore. The menu has a lot of variety, and I haven’t had anything terrible or even disappointing yet.
It’s always nice and quiet when we go, and the food is out quickly. The pecan waffle that I tried this morning was amazing; I’m usually disappointed by waffles. I was craving an apple cinnamon one, but it was still perfect.

Small town gem. This business has been around for some time and is often forgotten. The ambiance is what you’d expect to find at a typical cafe. The food is where they really shine. Portions are huge and quality is superb! I ordered the French Toast sandwich and was only able to finish 2/3 of it…..despite my desire to demolish the entire thing. The waitress was attentive and the menu is very reasonably priced! Great place for a change of routine and good food!

Nice little place has very good home cooking meals. I think it’s been around for quite some time. We really liked it not real close to us but it is very nice. The only thing I wish it had was a discount for veterans and first responders. Blueberry Hill does that and they seem to have a good response as a result. It’s a great meal at a very reasonable price.
