The place offered one the the best Ruben sandwich I’ve had in a long time! I sat at the bar and ordered, staff was courteous, establishment is a bit outdated with the decor, but the sandwich was on point! I’ll be back!

Service was great, friendly and inviting. Conversation with the bartender was a breath of fresh air. Kitchen staff gave a good recommendation, Loved the atmosphere. All the trinkets add a personal touch and give character to the establishment. However the recommended Rueben sandwich would have been perfect with the stuffed ingredients in rye. By the time I got to the second half of my sandwich, it had soaked up so much juice, it was rendered useless in the overall flavor profile and would have fell apart if it weren’t for my persistence in making sure I got it down. Given the time frame I was working with, I wasn’t going to ask for it to be redone; also not my style. With all things considered, this experience had the potential to be perfect if it weren’t for the neglected underside of this sandwich. As a sandwich artist, a precautionary napkin or some sort of padding to protect the inevitability vulnerable underside would have definitely been used if it were my creation.

Very nice Deli Pub and downtown Old Hampton on Queensway Mall. Outdoor seating available as well as high top tables and bar stools inside. Very nice and efficient bartender taking care of the outside tables. Service was fast an accurate and very nice. Food was great I had the Reuben and we also had the pulled BBQ chicken. Lots of people on Queensway mall with the live entertainment on a Friday night. I would highly recommend it if you’re tied up at the Docks in front of the Landmark Hotel. Great local spot

My husband and I had a good experience at this place. They were very welcoming and the food was really good, especially the Reuben. We definitely will be returning and play some songs at the cool looking music machine.

I was at an all- day event down the street, decided to walk over to Goody’s for lunch. Place is a total dive bar, which I love. Not very crowded at all, easy to get a spot at the bar for a to-go order. Quick service with the menu. I ended up getting the hot pastrami, as well as the Texan for a friend. Served with come slaw and a bag of chips, the price was $13.95. I wasn’t expecting much, honestly.
But wow, that was a fantastic sandwich, one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, piled way high with pastrami and melted Swiss. Incredible sandwich, incredible value.
The Texan looked insanely good as well. My colleague loved it!

Misty was a 1-armed band today acting as bartender, waitress, and cook. She did a fantastic job under the circumstances, greeting everyone as the came in and taking care of everyone’s needs. I ordered the club sandwich on rye and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. It was huge, delicious, and very filling.
