The food here has always been great. The location is always clean and the employees very friendly. If you want to come to a place where you want to get a meal worth what you pay, this is the place. The portions are huge, perfect to share. Don’t be fooled by what you see on the plate, the portions are tightly packed, like the chili cheese fries and salads. If you can’t decide between breakfast, lunch, or dinner–this is the place for you! If you just want something cool for these upcoming hot summer days, I highly recommend their milkshakes.

Ordered a carne asada burrito and thinking California burritos are the best there is no way I can go wrong. Well, it was completely inedible, and although $13 I could not eat it or feed it to my dog. It was full of this nasty-tasting red salsa loads of rice and beans. No flavor in the salsa, rice, beans, or the meat for that matter. So disappointed. The staff was nice. Also, the ranch was watered down. It was the most runny and flavorless ranch I have ever seen or tasted. The onion rings also made it into the trash whole.

Found this cafe late trying to find food past 9 pm. Had the Greek chicken salad and it was excellent. Large menu with lots of options including breakfast all day. Chicken was grilled and came out hotel. Lettuce was fresh along with other items on the salad. Pita bread was fresh and warm. There weren’t a lot of people in there so service was quick – on line with our expectations.

FOOD IS DECENT BUT THERE ARE ROACHES WALKING AROUND INSIDE A FOOD RESTAURANT NOT GOOD AT ALL. I WONDER HOW RHE KITCHEN IS! VERY DISGUSTING AND UNSANITARY. Not ever coming here again. They also charge extra just to substitute cheese when I used to do it all the time and didn’t have a problem.

I love the fries. But the burgers are overcooked, almost always. The omelettes are good. The French toast is good. The hash browns are good. It’s cheap, diner food, emphasis on cheap. But, what the heck with the staff? They eat while working the drive thru, it’s gross. With the exception of a few of the workers, the staff’s practices are questionable in terms of food safety, and there’s a real lack of professionalism.
And why does the complimentary salsa taste like fish?
I don’t think I’ve gotten sick eating there, but every visit feels like risk when I look closely at the goings on there. Why go back? Well, the food is good, but honestly, I think I like Andy’s in Indio better. Goody’s is closer though, and like I said, I love the fries. The fries almost never disappoint my need for a salty and fried fix.
