Goody Goody is a favorite of mine. I visited about 10 minutes before closing (my bad) and the line cook looked like he wanted to strangle me! (Photo attached is my best reenactment, he was a lot scarier, however.) The food came out fast, my burger looked like a crime scene. Their special sauce isn’t the samey orangish sauce every other place has, but rather a red sauce. Taste isn’t too remarkable. Burger was good, very meaty! Fry seasoning was patchy but delicious. Lady at counter was nice. This excursion proved both exhilarating (almost being killed by an evil burger chef) and rewarding (eating a good burger) For about 20 dollars not including drink, I would’ve preferred a nicer chef. Now my 4 hour delay is almost bearable! Thank you Goody Goody!

Tried to look for something local to the Tampa area while waiting for my flight and came across the signage and stating established since 1925.

There was a small line so I happen to see the kiosk and it seemed convenient, but it seemed like it lacked the full menu. So after I ordered from the kiosk, I noticed they had cake slices available in a glass case and waited in line to buy a couple slices.

Then comes the rude cashier Leslie R and ruins the whole experience. I wouldn’t mind having these subpar burgers if there was a normal person to help take the order. It just left a bad representation of the business and that I should have spent my money elsewhere.

Royale with Cheese ($14.00) was a decent size but lacking flavor. I didn’t add cheese for extra cost on the kiosk, so I never got any cheese on my burger that was supposed to include it. No seasoning on the meat.

POX ($10.00) was tiny and the sauce was not a traditional burger sauce. Basically just a spiced up ketchup and not a traditional burger sauce or unique sauce by any means. Again no seasoning on the meat.

Overall, don’t waste your money here and go the other side of the terminal to Burger 21 across from Starbucks.

This used to be a fantastic burger 8+ years ago. Sad to say this is not the 3rd time it is less than edible. The meat has so taste and it’s cold. The fries were just okay and overall there are better options and I will not be back.

It was a decent burger. Just okay, nothing amazing about it. But the fries were made fresh and were really hot and good! We weren’t disappointed with this choice in the airport leaving Tampa.

I love this tribute to the original Goody Goody restaurant that was rejuvenated by the Gonzmart group. This airport stop at Terminal C offers a short menu and for breakfast the coffee is half price of the venue closer to the main aisle in the terminal. The other place is also a Gonzmart property. Goody Goody focuses on malt shop items and offers good hot Gonzmart quality coffee but no decaf or tea. I hope to stop by on my return trip to try the burgers and fries. Great cake slices and and a take away ready to go case.

Bret went there in August 2023. Probably around or before 6am. Good experience.

Waiting time.
The line was short but still a steady stream of customers even at that time. Only waited a couple of minutes.

Food.
Burger was the Royale with Cheese. It was so good. It was a burger, topped with a fried egg, cheese, bacon, and a BBQ sauce with mushrooms .

Also got a slice of their seasonal Boston Cream Pie. The slice was pretty big and tasted great.

Altogether it was good.

5 stars when compared to airport food. The grilled cheese came on large white bread slices probably the equivalent of 4 slices of toast. Nice golden crust, melted cheese that had some flavor. Price for the sandwich was good, onion rings were expensive but good.

For $10 eggs , grits, fruit, muffin, jam and 3 pieces of bacon wasn’t a bad price for airport food! You will need extra butter and sugar for the grits. However they really could cook 2 eggs. Don’t forget to get salt and pepper for your eggs. It was cooked quick this morning & everything was hot!

Can’t really begrudge an airport place for their atmosphere- the food is not as good-y as could be. Had the POX burger- price is great considering you’re in an airport but the chocolate cake slice was dry- off-tasting- and lacked any flavor except a weird “after taste” that def wasn’t chocolate. Skip dessert and stick with the breakfast sandwich or a hastily made cheap burger.

Not a bad little hamburger stand, my only complaint is that my burger was well done but honestly that was expected. The food was made very quickly, staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable for an airport.

I had the POX Burger with fries and a drink, the burger was decent but the secret sauce was over-rated. I would be willing to stop here again but next time I would just do a regular hamburger.
