We went here because our first choice was all booked out for several hours. I’m so glad we did though… it was possibly the best BBQ we ever had. The Beef Rack was excellent, St. Louis style fantastic, the Brisket was a 9/10, and the veggie side options were perfect. I think the Asparagus was the best I have ever had at a restaurant, and I have been to some pretty high-end spots in my life. Can’t wait to visit again. Likely going here every time I am in Boise. Sooooo good!

Went there for early dinner (before a movie). Very easy to find a table and very prompt service. Ordered a 2 meat combo, kids meal and chili and all of them were amazing. Chicken was my least favorite but that was only in comparison with the amazing pulled pork.

The place,the service, and the food were awesome! We went there for dinner and for lunch the next day. We were pleased with the quality of food and with the great service. The prices were surprisingly not high at all. For dinner, we had 3 meat platters( barbecue chicken, pulledpork, and brisket)- amazing! Will recommend this place as a must for anyone.

This is my second visit to any Goodwood. I was not that impressed. My biggest complaint is they put a lot of sauce on the meal. So much so that is all I could taste. After scraping as much off as I could, I could actually taste the meat, which seemed to have good flavor and was tender. The potato salad has good flavor as well. The server suggested the carrot cake. I would not order again. It was OK. It was not too busy and the waiter was pretty inattentive. Not bad but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit.

Updating review after revisiting. The burger I got a few years ago had sat for a long time on the heating rack that the bun became soggy. But, on most recent visit, I went back to brisket sandwhich and it was very good. Reasonable prices but not cheap by any means.

We did the 3 meat lunch specials. Everything was so good! The home fries were the perfect amount of crispy. The burnt ends melted in your mouth. The ribs were so tender the meat fell off the bones. It was so good I had eaten 1/3 of my plate before I remembered to take a picture. The service was great the food was nice and hot when it came out!

I was in the mood for some great BBQ, and upon looking online, Goodwood did not disappoint whatsoever. I decided on the Burnt Ends Brisket Sandwich w/ Steak Fries. The staff up front were friendly and helpful even though it was a 3-minute interaction. There’s plenty of seating inside and great decor. The Burnt Ends were amazing. It’s really that simple. No bbq sauce was needed, but it made it even better. Each piece was nice and tender but not overly chewy. The steak fries were good and seasoned very well. I most definitely need to come back here and see what else they have to offer.

Always enjoy Goodwood BBQ. The staff is wonderful. I have also had an experience with the catering services, and they are excellent. I really enjoy this restaurant. A big kudos to the servers and to Mimi (catering services..she is amazing!). Jen was very helpful as well. Wonderful customer service and food.
