I had such a great time at Goodnight Johnny’s! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the highlight was definitely the live music they feature on weekends. The band was fantastic and really set the perfect vibe for the night. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy good drinks, and soak in great music with friends. I saw this restaurant on Instagram and had to check it out. We split the Thai wings that had a peanut butter taste that was delicious and the scallops that were cooked perfectly. I had there take on an espresso martini which was great and she had a glass of wine (heavy pour for the price i paid). We ended up coming back the following week for brunch and music trivia which was fun although they were out of the hash i wanted and the sausage i got instead was slightly over cooked. Overall great experience and would come back

The staff was super nice. It’s always a pleasure to have live music and especially on a weeknight. They accommodated our largish party. The food was generous portion wise. There’s a lot of comfort food on the menu. The gf flatbread was tasty, I’d get that again for sure.

We wanted to like this place but it just didn’t meet expectations. Biggest misses for us was that the staff was talking over our table to eachother. They should have moved those conversations to a more private location. Secondly, the menu was extremely limited the night we went because they were hosting a function and “needed the oven space” for the function. We couldn’t order anything baked. And they weren’t upfront about it at the beginning of the meal. The waiter waited to tell us until we decided what we wanted. The food was pretty good, except for the chocolate lava cake. It overwhelmingly tasted like coconut.

I work in the plaza myself, I am a massage therapist at My Salon Suites and I was elated to learn that a restaurant would be close by. I finally had the chance to go in the other day at the end of my shift, and it was absolutely spectacular. I enjoyed the upbeat jazz playing over the radio and the natural lighting. A client of mine recommended I try the Chicken Pot Pie but when I had gone in, I was told that they wouldn’t be serving this dish for another hour. However, my waiter had asked the kitchen ( without my request, which was VERY nice of him to do ), and I was delighted to learn that they would prepare it for me anyway! I also ordered an appetizer of poutine fries that were delicious and not at all over saturated with gravy. A few friends and hairdressers from My Salon Suites had come in as well and I joined them over at bar afterward for some light conversation. There were kind people behind the bar, and it was pleasant to share conversation with other restaurant goers at the counter. It all made this first time experience for me quite an enjoyable occasion. I will be back. Thank you, Goodnight Johnnys!

I found this restaurant from social media and I came in on a Friday night! It was great! They had live music and the atmosphere was fun. The food was good I had the wings and my bartender was energetic and made great drinks. Will definitely be back!
