We had the smothered pork chops and they just melted in your mouth! Also had blackeyed peas, green beans, mashed potatoes and pinto beans and they were all just perfect. The staff were all friendly and the service was the absolute best. If you are traveling and want a nice quaint homestyle restaurant I would try them out. This is the best restaurant we found on our trip!

BEST smothered pork chops I’ve ever eaten!! Walked in, got seated, the service was fast, and the young folks working there were very kind and helpful. We will definitely be coming back. Great little place to eat a home cooked meal for a fair price!

We are in Tupelo because we have no electric in Lafayette county. When I looked up restaurants Goodness Gracious caught my eye. We came and had an extremely excellent lunch: smothered pork chop that was fork tender & my husband had bbq chicken. The sides were delicious as well; mac n cheese & mashed potatoes and gravy.
What made it special besides the food was the warmth and love we encountered inside. Just truly loving people and a very relaxed atmosphere. The owner spent time talking with us.
You will not be disappointed if you come here to dine. We will be back! ❤️

Just traveling through and saw the good reviews and thought we’d take a chance. Food was great! This restaurant is family owned and operated. It is not a fast food restaurant. This is home-cooked food like Grandma makes! Take an extra few minutes and relax and enjoy some good food. Daniel is the manager and his mom and sister do the cooking. He was kind and courteous and he had great classic jazz piano music playing. It was loud enough to hear, but not so loud you can’t hear the person across the table. We will be coming back the next time we’re driving through Tupelo.

This place was amazing, from the start calling my order in, to picking it up, to eating it. The young men who took my order and rang me up were incredibly kind, friendly, and professional…and the one running the register gave me some flowers which made my day! I got the BBQ chicken, green beans and black eyed peas…all were perfectly seasoned and cooked. My only complaint is that it’s not closer to my work! 10 out of 10 will be back! I hope they are blessed with many more prosperous years, they deserve it and are doing things the right way!
