This coffee shop came highly recommended to me by several friends. After my first visit, I totally get why! The staff was so kind and welcoming, they have a great variety of drink and food options, the atmosphere is cozy and chill! Now I can say that I also highly recommend this coffee shop! We needed a little weekend treat and finally swung over to goodness & grace. While busy on a Saturday morning, the line was just about to the door and seemed to move at a decent speed.
Social media did its thing since we saw the Brown Sugar Snickerdoodle latte and wanted to give it a go. Being near lunch time, we also grabbed a biscuit made with ham, cheese, and chive mixed in, plus the oatmeal cookie sandwich.
Outside was still nice and we grabbed a table. The order was ready pretty quickly. There’s a decent amount of seating indoors, but the in/out can get a bit tight when it’s busy. I felt like prices are ok, though it’s not an everyday kind treat. We’re looking forward to being back.

We loved this coffee shop. It had high chairs. Most coffee shops we go to never have high chairs. They also have a changing table in the bathrooms. Yes they have restrooms which are clean. Lots of dessert options.

This place was amazing! I was half awake when I walked in my eyes were quickly awakened by what they saw! Delicious pastries and goodies. Once I finally reached the counter I was greeted with joy and kindness. The coffee was delicious along with the sugar cookie, some of the best I’ve ever had! I was amazing that it was all mandé there. BUT I have to highlight the quiche! Imagine my surprise when I kept trying to remove the wrapper and realized it as thin delicious flaky edible goodness!

If you’re looking for a spot where the coffee is as flavorful as the baked goods – this is what you’ve been searching for. Goodness & Grace offers delicious coffee with latte options limited only by your own creativity. You can mix and match flavorings from a choice of 20+ to create whatever your tastebuds are craving. I’ve tried brown sugar and spice on a cold day and lavender vanilla iced for sunny weather and they were easily some of the best lattes I’ve had anywhere.
Besides the coffee, they have incredible baked goods made fresh daily. Top hits for me have been the cinnamon rolls and the crumb topping donut (baked not fried and it’s fluffy, airy, moist perfection). Baked goods selection changes daily but they do generally have at least one gluten free option available.
Servers and owner are cheerful, friendly and helpful. If you can’t decide they are happy to suggest options. You really can’t go wrong though, everything is delicious here.
Seating is limited with options of several small tables or a comfy sofa inside. Atmosphere is rustic modern and cozy. They do have a large glass door that is opened in warm weather.
Parking is on street or in the public lots.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Goodness and Grace is truly a gem in our town. Their coffee is always rich and perfectly made, the pastries are fresh, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home, and every visit is consistently great. I recommend it to everyone.

Sometimes I stay a half block away Goodness Gracious and recently, i’ve walked up and down main street to find a place to grab a bite in the morning and there was nothing open. But on north fifth street, I’ll stumble upon this wonderful place that is incredibly busy very well known but yet, I never knew about it. I’ve never seen a line in any type of business in the historical Old Town WARRENTON other than the Old Town Cafe. And my practically fifty six years of living in Fauqier County.

My sister is gluten free and we’re always looking for bakeries that offer gf options. We hit the jackpot with this place. Gluten free muffins and mini loads of pumpkin bread. For the non-gf people the cookies, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, muffins, pumpkin rolls, etc have all been perfectly baked, large portions, and truly delicious.
Then you have the drink specials. I don’t know how they keep coming up with such varied and fabulous drinks!

We went on its busiest day of the year with lines out the door the whole day. We even drove an hour to get here. The service was fast and accurate despite the crowd and the pastries were delicious and moist. We were so impressed and have already started recommending goodness & grace to everyone! Can’t wait to see the expansion! We will be back.
