Good menu, good ingredients, lousy product. All the chicken is dry and shredded. With just standard salad dressings the result is tasteless food. We couldn’t get through either of our piles of salad even with a second dose of dressing. Sorry to have to give a negative review on an otherwise beautiful summer day.

This place rocks! The service is fast, even on holiday weekends. They are super friendly and well organized. They offer so many different acai bowl flavors. This was truly one of the best acai bowls I’ve ever had! There is ample outdoor seating and even live music sometimes. Highly recommend

Updating review based on excellent customer service! We originally had a disappointing latte as the espresso machine was temporarily not working yesterday but we are receiving refunds and a much appreciated credit. Looking forward to giving it another shot.
Update: Had an excellent experience in-person the next day and got a caramel macchiato and Brain Boost smoothie. The workers in there are so friendly.

You can’t find better food and better people on the island. Owners Corinne and Sue run a fantastic business. Our kids wake up shouting for açaí bowls, avocado toast, smoothies, and more. If you haven’t tried here, it’s THE place for breakfast and lunch in Avalon.

The açaí bowls here were really great and so were the grain bowls. The ingredients tasted fresh and the servings were fairly large. We ordered takeout and it was ready to when expected. They were extra careful about our stated food allergies which was very helpful. They were able to accommodate our milk, peanut and tree nut allergies easily and even called us for our takeout order to confirm ingredients.

Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. We also love their fresh pressed juices and smoothies—perfect for a beach day pick-me-up. I LOVE Goodness Bowls! They have so many healthy options, which is great when you’re at the shore. My favorite bowl is the Avalon Bowl and I add coconut.
The owner and her staff are always so accommodating and friendly!
They have the cutest interior and are great with social distancing/ wearing masks. They’ve added tables outside where you can sit while you wait for your food! Highly recommend stopping by when you’re in Avalon.

We have been Juice Pod people for many years and have nothing negative to say about that place, but we like Goodness Bowl better. Less crazy, more relaxed, clean, Avo Smash has better bread, service is excellent. Highly recommend.
