The food here slaps soo hard. We went on Sunday for Soul Food Sunday and I went back for $10 Tuesday. Ya’ll the food tastes like someone’s Granny from the with was in the kitchen. You know the grannies that told you to go pick a switch off the tree for your spanking… Go to this restaurant immediately. I’m trying not to go back again today.

I was really disappointed with the food quality at Goodies Kitchen. The Wagyu burger was very small, thin, and flavorless, and it didn’t taste premium at all. The wings were not cooked evenly, and the fries were soggy. The dessert portion was also very small for a $5 price point. Overall, the food was mid at best and not worth the price.
The customer service was good, and I did enjoy the sauce on the wings, which was probably the best part of the meal. Unfortunately, good service couldn’t make up for the overall disappointment in food quality.

Went to visit this restaurant today with the family after watching a TikTok a local food reviewer had made raving about this place. At first we thought they wouldn’t be open until January 8th, but after reviewing their social media they decided to open earlier (by date) than expected. So we decided to try them out for dinner. After driving 30 mins across town to the spot we found out they were closed. Hmmm, interesting as they had posted they would be open until 6pm on their social media. Now look, I get it, popular spots can run out of food. So I start looking for any sign stating why they might be closed. No such luck, the person running the cash register was taking a order from someone in line inside the restaurant. She looked at me like I’m the sucker for coming when they were closed. Super disappointed, didnt expect a marketing ploy of being a trap house to become how my first impression of the spot would be. My expectation was that it was supposed to make me think real down home soul food. My bad I guess!

Food was overpriced. A can Faygo soda was $3. Didn’t even get a chance to eat the food. Explained that it was my 1st time there, no one explained the menu specials. They gave me a 20 piece wing that I didn’t order, then lied about refunding my money back. Establishment looked ran down no type of essence. Look like something thrown together. Staff was very rude and raunchy looking.

Found them on tiktok and made the hour and a half drive to come get their goodies. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Everyone working was extremely nice. I can’t wait to come back next time in fort Wayne!!

Food is bland and way overpriced 2 burger meals for 40 dollars is a bit ridiculous. No fountain drinks only Faygo cans. I won’t be back that’s for sure.

This place is a must go, 5 stars all around to the community that was there and the people behind the counter, great place, the candy grapes are so good especially if you throw them in the freezer and give them a couple hours, I will be back for the food, it all looks amazing, definitely need to come here
