Triple check your order to make sure the site doesn’t kick it to a different location. Because of that the pizza I ordered sat for a while which made it have a rubber consistency. The way they wrapped up the sub should be a crime. When taking the sub out of the bag, my son lost his poor meatball all covered in sauce it fell on his lap and then rolled across the floor!

My husband and I visited this pizza place for dinner and had a great experience. We ordered a vegetarian pizza which had NY-style crispy crust and apt amount of cheese and turned out delicious.
The outdoor seating area had a cozy ambience, making it a nice spot to hang out. The staff were friendly, and it was a pleasant surprise when they brought the pizza to our table despite it being self-service usually and even gave a complimentary cheesecake for my birthday – a lovely gesture!

Ordered two slices for dine in and a half pepperoni and cheese to go. Poor execution all around. Slices probably reheated for 30 sec and came out room temp. We sat there for 10 min after take out pizza was done and had to go to counter to ask if it was ready. How did they not tell us our pizza was ready is so odd. When it came out – whopping 5 slices of pepperoni. Potential but execution and service sucked. Ps: Pizza was more like a 14” than 16” as can be seen by pic.
Update: I went to the Pleasant Ridge location last week and it was a much different experience. All the pizzas were coming out high-quality, attention to detail and tasted good. I’ll go back to this one in the future.

Order the buffalo chicken bread. This is the best thing I have ever had, and it tops it off by eating at the fountain right outside the restaurant. Praise Reese and Austin for this amazing dish! They were so nice. Would come again.

I had a great experience with Rebekah for dinner at Goodfellas. She was very knowledgeable on her bourbon. (I was disappointed they do not have any scotch) a great bartender and mixologist. I enjoyed watching her make everyone’s drinks.
I ordered a pizza as it is pizza week in Cincinnati and that’s was the reason I came. They had a truffle pizza for the special that sounded good. 15 min or so after I ordered, one of the pizza makers came up and said it would be an hour wait for anyone dining in. If we didn’t want to wait, we could go downstairs and order by the slice. I was ok with the wait as I had no time limit. A half hour or so went by and he came again asking who ordered the truffle pizza, it was me. He stated that they were out of mushrooms. (This was at 7pm during pizza week!!) how could they run out of ingredients for their only pizza
with a topping other than cheese?
Rebekah assured me they had enough for my pizza and so I went with it. Unfortunately, when the pizza came, there were no mushrooms and I didn’t get any sausage that was supposed to be on there either…. For that, I have to knock the stars down. I would give it another shot but there are so many other places around that have great pizza, I’d have to be with a group that was going there to consider it.
Update: I sent (2) emails to the address in the response and have yet to hear anything back from either one of them. I have now changed my star rating from 3 to 1. Management seems to be the bad card in hand.

I was responsible for placing a rather large corporate order with specialty pizzas, dietary restrictions and extra requests. Alicia (unsure of the spelling) was working the morning shift on 2/26 and absolutely rocked. She handled the order for me while handling the walk in orders, made sure everything was perfectly cooked and cut, and it seemed like she was training another employee at the same time (all three folks working on the order were great but only caught her name!). Next time I’m in charge of the group lunch order, I know where I’m going.

We live up in Mason, so rarely if ever have a chance or need to go to Covington, but we stopped in here after a rare visit down there from Mason, OH, and halfway through the meal we were already trying to come up with more excuses to come to Covington more often.
Then we agreed that Goodfellas pizza WAS the excuse. Absolutely delicious, exactly what I picture in my mind when I think of a great east coast-style pie, and it delivered on all counts.
