Great neighborhood bar. Super nice bartender Mandy. Good food, with big portions. Lots of tables. Pool table available. Outside patio area for smoking. The cleanest & nicest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a bar! Super nice people in bar. Video games & darts too.

I don’t write many reviews, the place has to be pretty damn bad or really good. The place is small and gets crowded on weekends so you have to wait a little longer but It’s worth the wait. Their food is fantastic and the Onion rings are the best Ive EVER had!

It said Goodfellas.
So
this week I visited for the first time. I asked the waitress for a club soda.
2.00$
Later I come up to the bar and the manager waited on me.
I asked for a refill of club soda
1 refill
1 club soda in a shot glass
4.00$
So now ive paid for 3 sodas.
I dont have anyone with me.
Im the only one consuming the drinks . Smh
I also drank an energy drink and paid for that in addition. but why am I paying for 3 fountain drinks.
No worries I give her a tip that was 250%ish
Because no matter what I purchase im gonna take care of the waitress.
I played 5 or 6 games of pool so $ was still spent in bar.
So
Yesterday was my 7 months
7 months no drinking
I couldn’t believe how much I enjoyed my time a few nights ago. SOBER!!!!!!
playing pool, dancing a little and NO temptation, desire, or longing for alcohol

to celebrate my 7 months after a good meeting and a celebratory chip ***********
I stopped in with the intention of buying a redbull and a shot of club
Soda.
When I get to the counter a waitress takes my order
1 redbull
1 shot of of club soda
And a shot of club soda for a customer sitting at the bar. I told her that the manager whom was standing nearby knew what I wanted. Would she ask her what I got last time, I don’t drink and so I just wanted the club soda instead of liquor.
b4 paying and walking away I wanted another ….. (see why im sober) so
1 more = 3 shots
I am charged 19.00
19.00$ for
About 8oz of soda and 1 redbull
So feeling like this poor waitress is screwing herself.

and a redbull
So
Before leaving I see the waitress and say Next time I’ll order it in a cup an get 2 glasses instead. bc I wanted to tip her at least 20$ but she charged me for like 6 cups of soda or an actual shot idk what’s she did but next time I’ll word it differently.
She said the manager told her 4$ each shot
Of soda water???.
Umm manager I see why you are too busy to have plugged my phone up last time to have earned the 10+ dollar tip on a 4.00 drink your CHASING the wrong INCREASE. That could have been 14.00
Despite management’s unwelcoming, price gouging and very obvious chip on her shoulder opinion of a sober customer
I came back
Many lessons could be learned from this situation
But I’ll end with this.
In the customer service industry good customer service can outweigh 90 percent of situations. and thats why managers will come over when a situation arises burnt food, customer complaints ect. See the company values their expertise or ability to Lead. Promoted them to a role of leadership.
Well she is leading that ship to sinking waters.
Money is tight for everyone and over charging me no matter what the prejudice
Cost the waitress working to make tips lose money
And for Goodfellas I wont do it a third time.
It obvious she make her own price list ill take my business elsewhere
We need late night spot for people that choose to have fun, spend money and dont have to buy alcohol
