The guy taking my order and who gave me my food when i got there, absolutely top notch. Friendly and cool. The food, polar opposite. I got a buffalo chicken calzone, which i couldnt eat because the dough was very clearly raw all around the outside and so soft i couldnt even pick it up. That mush went strait in the trash (it did smell really good tho). I also got a chicken finger sub with cheddar cheese and bacon, nothing else, but came to me with lettuce and tomato and mayo which i cant eat tomatoes so i had to throw that in the trash with the calzone. I got a side of fries, soggy as can be with a 7 minute ride home. Chicken finger side order and steak and cheese sub for my daughter was good, thankfully…in the end i only care that SHE eats and likes her food, so it wasnt a total waste if she was happy. Again, the guy who took my order and helped me when i was there, the bartender, was awesome. Man i wish the food was good because i would have come back just for his good attitude. This place was a 1 and done for me. $81. 71 for the food which i fully regret, 10 for a tip and hopefully the bartender got it.
Super cool guy who runs it and he’s very nice .
Really good pizza, but if you want to make the “Perfect Slice”, add a little whole Mozzarella to the mix of cheeses and a little sugar to the sauce and sweeten it up a bit…you want more “ooze” to your cheese..(it’s a little chewy).. but nice cheese flavor. I like the mix you have going.
But here’s my scoop.
Perfect slice.. nice char when pulled one minute early.
Nice grease .. perfect amount. ( Disclaimer.. I added butter to mine. I was out of olive oil ). . That’s why it looks extra greasy)
Perfect seasoning to sauce and cheese.
Perfect thinness…
Perfect crust…
My advice…
Buy a food truck. Sell to the kids at the high school at lunch. Sell to the kids at the ice rink and baseball /football games… they are your best customers.
Sell SLICES !! 2 bucks a pop. Make em’ big ! ( 2 regular slices equals one take out slice.
Sell them to the kids as a special. A slice and a Coke for 5 bucks.
Keep it simple and you’ll survive this recession.
And of course .. wear gloves and masks.
