First time dining here. Tried the New England Clam Chowder, which was so-so. For the Main Course, I ordered the Broiled Cajun Haddock, sides of Dinner Salad & Homefries with Raspberry Iced Tea. All were very good & my family agreed. I took the 3-layer Strawberry Cream Cake to-go from the extensive dessert case. No alcohol is served here.
Prices are reasonable at about 10.00-$15.00 for dinners or sandwiches. Soup is $5.00/bowl, $4.00/ cup. The piece of cake, which was quite large, was $6.00.
The staff was friendly, even though they were very busy & our server, Kelly, was great.
The interior was comfortable, although on the plain side. There wasn’t any music or public Wi-Fi available.

Ate breakfast here the other day and got a couple pieces of pie to go…the peanut butter pie is excellent!! I opted out of them putting nuts on it but I think it probably would’ve been better with em on it, it’s delicious without them as well though. And the slice is huge, way too much for one sitting. They use a graham cracker crust, tastes like they may put cream cheese in the pb mix.

Great place. Has a country kitchen atmosphere. Our server Ashley was great, she was kind, friendly and attentive. The service was fast , the place appeared clean, and the prices were really reasonable. My father and I had breakfast and it came to $27 not including tip. Loved the homemade bread for toast. Parking lot is alittle on the small side and can fill up fast because of how popular it is locally. Highly recommend.

When you walk in you get the wonderful aroma of homecooked food and a very folksy, comfortable dining room. They were very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I really recommend getting a slice of homemade pie. That alone was one of the greatest pieces of pie I have ever eaten. Not that I could finish it though, because it was a very big piece of pie.

Food is greasy. Doesn’t seem to be as good as it used to be. Service was not good. Long wait for food,for to go box and to check out. Wanted dessert but sat way too long.

Absolutely filthy with horrible service. Chose this place based on a recommendation. Big mistake. First time we attempted to eat here they literally ran out of food. With only a very select choice of what they still had, we left. Second attempt we were told “sit anywhere”. We’ll of the 7 unoccupied tables, they were all filthy. The wait staff wasn’t bothering to clean tables. So we sat at a dirty table looking at other people’s dirty dishes. After 15 minutes of sitting in filth, no one came over to ask us if we wanted anything let alone clean the table. We decided to leave again. Floors were sticky, flies everywhere, and the staff was just horrible with service. So the whole 20 minutes we sat at that dirty table, not a single one of those 7 tables were ever cleaned. We watched other patrons go through the same thing. Even one couple made eye contact and gestured how disgusting it was. They too walked out around the same time as us. I’m not sure who manages it, but they are failing. Dirty filthy place with no service or regard for patrons.

Tonight was my very first night of going there with my two sons it’s Good Friday. We had excellent dinner. We had a new waitress who did such an excellent job that we will definitely be back again. The owner came over to check and see how everything was for us and it is such a loving and wonderful atmosphere that I am definitely looking forward to going over and over again

You will not leave hungry! Portions are huge, delicious and prepared the way you like. Can order breakfast any time but go on Fri for the fish – yum! The staff is nice, friendly and at the ready with coffee lol. They also serve pies, cakes, muffins and cookies.
