I’m partial to Goodcents so this is kind of a biased review. Love the Penny club #3 Different bread flavor options. Standard dress with extra additions. Pasta options that arent bad. Only con to the establishment would be the $$ amount for a full sized sandwich/meal. Touch over-charged for a sandwich shop. Worth it on a payday though. Lol

I’ve been coming here almost every weekday for 2+ years. Excellent customer service all the way around. Staff is welcoming, upbeat, friendly, and most of all they really care. I’ve gotten to know everyone who works there at least a little. Speedy yet personal service and always a great sandwich just the way I want. Even through a pandemic I could count on them for a good experience getting lunch. As my grandfather said “It’s hard to beat a good sandwich.” I can not recommend this location more.

I don’t know what I was thinking I got chicken from here. Everyone knows good cents is for fresh sliced deli meat. It great to see owner of franchise with operations manager and potential franchise owners for Hayes ks. I have never seen such friendly people with management.

I love this location. The sandwiches always taste fresh and the bread is so soft. The workers here are the best . Very friendly staff and they seem so happy. I am outside sales and will drive out of my way passing other locations just to come to this one. I stop in at least once a week. Either to order for myself or to pick up a catering order for clients. Best place to get a sandwich tray for catering orders.

This has happened now every time we have placed an order on the app — they prioritize walk ins. I placed order at 1040 for an ASAP pick up. It said it’d be ready at 11. I came at 1055. And I called to let them know I was there. I have watched 12 people walk in and out with orders. And it’s now 11:16 and it’s still not here. I have a screaming toddler In my car. I have called in and talked to them 3 x and each time they told me it’s on its way out, and then here I said. So it has taken them over 30 minutes to get an order out of four sandwiches.. my kid is in remote school and his lunch break is half over now. I will definitely be using Jersey Mike’s for sandwich orders if we are ever on a time crunch because it’s clear that the app pushes you to the bottom of the line. The whole point of ordering an app and doing curbside pick up is to save time and minimize exposure for both those in the restaurant as well as my own family. And we are penalized for it.I miss the old manager because they used to treat us well. We have been regulars but ever since management changed, it’s gone downhill in service.

Small sub shop. The bread is really good.
Only in this town for the week and I’ve eaten here three times. It’s way better than chain stores like Subway or Jimmy John’s.
Very friendly staff and one of the better sub shops I’ve been to throughout the country.

Ate Philly Cheesesteak on Tuesday. Got extremely food poisoned, it is Saturday and I still can’t function normally. Staff is nice and been there couple times before without issues. But after this episode that was a last time.

I ordered a sandwich tray for my daughter’s 30th birthday celebration. The celebration was going to be at a studio in Westport, but since my daughter lives in Lenexa, I chose this location to order from because it had the highest rating of the two locations near my daughter. We had been running behind from setting up the studio for the party, and I was 45 minutes late from the time I scheduled my pick-up for. When I arrived they said that a frat-boy-looking white guy, driving a white suv-like truck, had come in and said that he was picking up a sandwich tray order and gave my name. The gals mentioned that it was the only sandwich tray order they had, so they didn’t question it. I showed them my confirmation email, which confirmed I was at the correct location. The gals were very nice about it and said they called their manager to see what they should do. They checked my ID, then went ahead and made me another sandwich tray (yet, with less meat than they used to come with, even though they advertise there’s more meat). Yet, this put me even more behind and my daughter had to finish setting up her own party by herself. Even though the gals were really nice and I tipped them an additional $20 in cash for quickly solving the problem without being mean or grumpy, I’m only giving one star. It’s hard to say what really happened. Maybe someone working there alerted a friend that I hadn’t picked up my tray yet. It was weird to hear that someone picked up the only sandwich tray, which was mine and said they were picking it up specifically for me, when I hadn’t told anybody else I was ordering it. My suggestion is that stores request a pick-up person be provided when ordering, and that person or the original person ordering must pick it up or the store calls the phone number on the order if someone else end up there to pick it up.
