Not great. The Goodcents at Pflumm and College in Lenexa is still the worst, but Leavenworth was not great. Cannot recommend it. They forgot to put lettuce on one sandwich. Barely put any cheese…2 triangular slices on an 8 inch cheese sandwich with no meat? The guy was very nice when I went up to ask for the missing lettuce. The 3 of them seemed very confused. They told us they only had 1 cookie for our mobile order which had 2 on it. The guy kept saying they had peanut butter, but only 1 chocolate chip. I said ok because we ordered one of each. The girl said no, that was the last cookie of any kind. They argued about it, so I’m guessing she just didn’t want to give us the other cookie. We had to take chips instead. The 2nd sandwich was loaded with pepper. Since it was on pepper garlic bread, that wasn’t necessary. They also soaked it in vinegar and oil.

A Wonderful Experience at Goodcents in Leavenworth, KS

I had a fantastic experience about 40 minutes ago at Goodcents in Leavenworth, Kansas. I had just finished physical therapy and spotted the deli from across the street — and as a New Yorker, I’ll never turn down a good sub sandwich. I’m glad I walked in.

Preston greeted me immediately with genuine warmth. He asked what I wanted to order and how my day was going. I told him this was my first time visiting Goodcents. As he prepared my lunch, we chatted about Thanksgiving plans, and the whole interaction felt natural and welcoming — the kind of customer service that truly stands out.

He prepared an incredible Italian sub for me using the freshest ingredients: oil and vinegar, basil, salt, pepper, lettuce, tomato, onions, and banana peppers for that perfect extra heat. Everything was put together with care and attention, and you can tell he takes real pride in his work.

I ordered an Uber and took the sandwich back to my apartment to escape the rain. Once I sat down in my living room to eat, I dug in, and it was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors balanced, and the sandwich was filling. I ordered the 8-inch — their medium-sized option — and it was more than enough. Goodcents even offers a larger size for bigger appetites, so the value for the money is outstanding.

The whole experience easily earns this place a well-deserved five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We ordered online and used the drive-thru to pick it up. We have never had a problem here and still don’t! The subs here are awesome and filling. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I feel good about my family eating there in that this isn’t greasy or fattening. We’ll always come back here.

Drive through screen not working went in to order and watched 3 people not acknowledge me and there were no other customers in store.waited at order spot when the (I assume for the way he talked to the younger workers) then tell me it would be a few minutes and walk away. Still thing after a few minutes because no one bothered to want to take my order. It most definitely so the cleanest so maybe I dodged a bullet.

We had an “awakening moment” when we entered the establishment for our carryout order! Prior to our wait to place our order, we watched the employees vigorously working their &$$÷$ off to fulfill orders for:
1. Drive Thru (not a good idea)
2. Curbside Pickup
3. Delivery
4. Door Dash & Grub Hub Pickup
5. Counter Orders

The quality of the sandwiches cannot be defined by the speed to complete the orders moving in every direction! This is a new store from what we could tell! The location is a couple turns off the main road, so be ready! The facility was beautiful inside and out with cleanliness being a top priority! We were thankful to see the 3 “stressed” but working employees, as they maneuvered around and thru each other trying to complete the orders as they arrived so quickly! The employees were all friendly and impressive at their jobs! Our sandwiches were ok, as we opened them 15 min later, the bread was water logged with black olive, pickle, banana pepper and jalapeño juices rendering the bread inedible! Not sure if we arrived at a busy time or always like that, so we’ll give them another shot, since it’s our favorite sub sandwich restaurant!

No rating yet. I just came into town and I find this on Google. Going over and checking it out. More to follow… I will start with a 3 and from there it will either go up or down. Okay so this place gets a 5 from me. The staff (David, Donavan, and Preston) super friendly and efficient. The environment is clean and for a first timer they treated this out of town we respectfully. The best part they have Diet Dr Pepper as a drink selection which for me is rare site. I will be coming back as long as I am TDY here!!!

I’m not happy with the Leavenworth store. Aside from the numerous dead flies on a windowsill near food preparation area and the open stainless steel container of dirty cleaning fluid with dirty rag within a foot of the open meat prep and bread storage area, I have another severe problem!
Frankly, I watched the “manager” place his gloved hands inside another customers sandwich then wrap it then place it inside a bag. “Manager” then prepared to finish my order. I stopped him then told him to change his gloves which he did.
I told him about the dead flies and foul fluid by prep area. His answer was that flies always get in during food delivery then congregate by the sill and die.
This happened @1140 today. I have to wonder how many flies were deceased on other parts of the store. Granted gloves aren’t as cheap as they were but for sanitation reasons, gloves should be changed between customers.
Personally, I have to question returning to a store that appears to think sanitation in a food establishment is secondary. It also makes me question wether Goodscents provides proper training and follow-up.

Wanted a cookie. Pulled up at 8:55pm and they had their doors locked and wouldn’t answer their phone. What should’ve been a simple 1 minute transaction couldn’t happen because that’s what happens when you let kids run a business.

Why is it that your Google page says open until 9pm but I’m sitting in your parking lot at 7pm and your open sign is off, the chairs are up, and your door os locked??? This is the second time in a mo th I’ve tried to come in before 8 pm and your closed.
