I am utterly inspired by the incredible experience I had at this restaurant from the moment I walked in.
Michael’s agreement to meet in a customer service setting was absolutely fantastic. As a first-time visitor, I was blown away by the exceptional quality of the food, the warm atmosphere, and the outstanding people. I must commend Michael for making my experience truly unforgettable. His passion for his job, food, and sharing his knowledge is genuinely admirable. This restaurant is not only a gem, but it’s also a game-changer for anyone seeking real, delicious food that promotes a healthier lifestyle. Whether you’re a meat lover or not, this place is a must-visit. Don’t be intimidated – the food is incredible, and you won’t be disappointed. I’m thrilled to have discovered this restaurant today , shout to the chef and owner who made this all happen , you have a beautiful establishment , I am so glad Thats there is people out there cooking delicious real food and coming up with great recipes to share with the world, thank you so much for sharing your passion and knowledge of what real food should be , I am so excited to share this experience with my 10 year as we are in a journey together she is looking forward to check this place out . . I only wish I had found it sooner.Michael is a shining star, and the restaurant is fortunate to have him.
This place is truly a treasure, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience.

I’ve had some really great food here. Their house made veggie burger is delicious and I always love all their desserts. However the pricing has gotten to a point that it’s hard to eat here outside of a special occasion. I was especially blown away by the price of their pizza special, which was extremely subpar. It was $36 for a thin 11in pizza. The crust is (I presume) homemade, but the vegan cheese is clearly store bought and doesn’t melt well. The pizza was very dry and flavorless. I know vegan cheese doesn’t melt well but I’ve tasted much better. The taste was similar to a frozen GF daiya pizza.

Really enjoyed our meal here at goodbeet! It’s always great to see a restaurant that is both vegan and GF. While I’m not GF, I can definitely appreciate the effort that goes into making a GF menu. Everything tasted great, and honestly it would’ve been hard to tell that anything we had was GF. The restaurant itself was very nice inside with a modern/earthy vibe. I didn’t get his name, but the guy who was working was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu (he said he’d been there 7 years!). We tried the crispy potatoes, “meat” balls, a buffalo cauliflower taco, a sunflower seed taco, and the NJ tomato sandwich. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. At the end we also tried both the lemon and basil (sounds weird but it was yummy) ice cream and a s’more cookie. Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here and I hope to be back to try more of the menu! 🙂

I’ve visited quite a few times and every time I am delighted to bring my favorite person along for the experience. Today, we were warmly welcomed by Mike who, as always, displayed impeccable hospitality and expertise when it came to guiding us through the menu. With his extensive knowledge of every dish down to the smallest ingredient, he made ordering a breeze. The convenience of ordering via the barcode menu online was truly a fantastic idea, but we opted to place our order directly with Mike.

My companion, whom I affectionately call Blue, decided on the crispy tofu sandwich – a delightful blend of lightly battered tofu with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions, served with a choice of bang bang ranch, barbecue, or secret sauce. As we glanced at other diners’ plates, one dish stood out to me – the cowboy burger. This burger, containing a beef patty made from portobello mushrooms, walnuts, and black beans, was topped with a variety of enticing ingredients including American cheese, coconut bacon, fried onions, pickles, ranch, and barbecue sauce.

We also agreed to share the quinoa Caesar salad made with an assortment of mixed greens, balsamic dressing, red onions, smoky chickpeas, crotons, cashew Parmesan, and a cashew Caesar dressing. To accompany our meal, I ordered a hot mud water latte on Mike’s recommendation, which infused cacao, masala chai, turmeric, sea salt, cinnamon, Corse Rishi lions Mane, and steamed oat milk.

Splitting our sandwiches allowed us to savor each delectable bite, and we were impressed by how well the flavors merged together. The soft buns in which the sandwiches were served added an extra layer of deliciousness. The salad was a perfect balance of ingredients – not overly dressed, yet bursting with flavor in every bite. We left our plates clean and the mud water latte provided a satisfying end to our meal.

As always, we couldn’t resist ordering dessert. Blue chose the indulgent slutty brownie while I opted for a couple of scoops of cinnamon soft serve ice cream. The warm brownie paired perfectly with the cool ice cream, and we couldn’t help but mix the two together for a heavenly combination.

In addition to the fantastic food and drinks, the restaurant also offered filtered water – a rarity in many establishments. Good Beet is truly a hidden gem that never fails to impress.

The food is great. I love coming here from Delaware to get some vegan eateries. However, I will say, I want to eat their pastries and sweets, but their sugarman has a heavy hand. Lol. If they can tone down on the sugar, I’d definitely give higher stars.

Waited over 40 mins for pancakes that were raw in the middle and had big black pieces I’m guessing were from prior food on the grill. (Did not come with butter or syrup which I find weird they do not tell you this when you are ordering) Got it to go so did not notice this until I was about to eat it in my car. Also, these pancakes are not cheap by any means so to serve this to a customer is unacceptable. Will not be returning.

First time at Good Beat and I loved it!
The place is super cute inside and has such a great vibe. There are so many healthy options—real healthy options, not the fake kind you see at a lot of places.

I got the golden milk latte and the avocado toast—both were absolutely delicious. You can tell everything is made with quality ingredients and care.

I’ll definitely be going back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for nourishing, feel-good food!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect cake for our wedding day! goodbeet created a stunning, allergy-friendly cake that not only looked beautiful but tasted absolutely incredible. With several food sensitivities among our guests, including the groom himself having a dairy and nut allergy, we were nervous about finding a bakery that could accommodate everyone—but goodbeet went above and beyond.

From our first consultation, the team was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making sure the cake was both safe and delicious. They offered us a range of flavor options and were transparent about every ingredient used. The final result was a showstopper: elegant design, moist layers, and flavors that had our guests raving! We had a 3-tiered cake, each tier a different flavor. Our base layer was ube with dairy free cream cheese. The middle layer was strawberry with vanilla icing. The top layer was lemon cake with raspberry icing. We had no cake leftover at the end of the night.

We’re so grateful to goodbeet for helping make our day even sweeter. Highly recommended for anyone looking for inclusive, top-tier desserts!

First time here and this place is such a gem!! Came here while in the area visiting the Camden aquarium. My partner is vegan and I have celiac so gluten is a no for me! It’s always so difficult to find places for us and goodbeat did not disappoint!! The food was great, the service was amazing, and the staff was so helpful with everything! Pricing is also fair considering the quality of what you’re getting. Wish we lived closer. If you’re in the area and need a good gf/dairy free option, definitely stop by!!

The food was all amazing but you pay for it. The prices are really high. I wouldn’t suggest eating here every day, unless you’re rich, but if you have a gluten free, organic, vegan’s birthday to celebrate and are lost on what to feed them, this is the place. They will love it. They may cry. It’s that good.
