I wanted to try Jamaican food for my first time, and I found this spot. The menu is quite large; I wanted to try everything. I decide to go with the Oxtail diner that came with two sides. I went with the rice & peas and cabbage. Additionally, I ordered the Jerk chicken with the sides of (again) rice and peas but, with the mac n cheese.
Overall, it was good. Oxtails were tender and the jerk chicken was the best, again tender and good flavor. Rice and peas were not bland. I liked the cabbage; tasted like it had some spice to it, I couldn’t put my finger on it. Either way it was good.
The mac n cheese was okay, would have liked it to be creamy.
Owner was the only one there when I went, and she was so kind and had me out in 5 minutes!!

I haven’t had Jamaican food this good in a very long time. We are frequents & the food NEVER disappoints. The jerk chicken is SO good but I get the same thing every time (curry shrimp/rice & peas/cabbage) food is cooked fresh & is so flavorful. they are so friendly, to the point they know my exact order every time. 20/10 recommend!

Oxtail dinner is on point every time!! The wait isn’t so long now that they’ve moved to this location so im definitely excited about that! The plates are hefty and more than enough to share… or save for later.
Don’t think about it….. JUST GO!
Rice/beans cabbage and oxtails is always my go to!

I usually don’t post reviews but this needed to be said, this staff is amazing and friendly. I stumbled across them super late at night and they were closed; they were inside and they came to the door and called us back from the car and said “we’re closed but we have some patties left over.” And they gave us the patties for free. I came back a few months later and ordered a ton of food and the portions were not small. They gave me samples of their cow foot soup (which was amazing). They have nailed the southern hospitality and delicious Jamaican food. 10/10 recommend. Please try their snapper!!!

Absolutely delicious. I am literally on my fourth bite of this meal. I got the Vegan curry with cabbage and rice and peas. Of course I had to get the cocoa bread and I had half before I even started on my food. They were so kind and personable. The food smelled amazing and tasted even better. Run to go get your plate! I will definitely be back.

Go down Peach Orchard Rd and make a right when you see a white picket fence with a bunch of cars behind it. 2 buildings to the left you’ll find the best food here thats within an hr drive. I go at least twice a month whenever I’m close by. The oxtail and jerk chicken are amazing and if you have never experienced Jamaican cuisine you are living your life wrong.

I had the jerk chicken. Peas and rice and cabbage. Oh my goodness it was delicious. A little sweet, a little spicy, beautiful flavors. The pineapple lemonade was refreshing, and delicious. Definitely recommend. This photo was taken after I had eaten my fill. The portions are huge.

My daughter and I wanted to stop for lunch on our way back home from Charleston. This place was slightly out of the way, but the idea of authentic Jamaican food was to hard to pass up. We were not disappointed!!! The jersey chicken had a wonderful kick (not too spicy though) and the plantains were the best I’ve had in awhile. We will be back!!
