Won’t be coming back. Server did not know they were out of chili relleno until after I ordered, 80% of the combination menu included chili relleno as part of the dish, when I asked for recommendations the server handed me the menu and said “I dont know”.
I could’ve overlooked that until the food came out. It was nothing but a pile of grease, beef, and cheese. I was starving, so I ate it. I’m sure I’ll pay for that later.
Taco Bell has less greasy food.
(That is not red chili on the plate, that’s leftover grease.)

Got food for parents while in town visiting and probably the worst experience I’ve had eating. The whole parking lot was full of trash and dirty. Then when I walked in the guy who was working was sitting at a table slouching not doing anything and was Not very welcoming when I came in to get food.
The food was expensive and they barley gave anything. My father got the t-bone and shrimp steak and it was tough to the point of not being able to eat it. The tacos that my significant and I split were $12 for 4 tacos and it didn’t come with anything else and it was some of the worst and skimpy tacos I’ve ever had. Most of food bought is being trashed cause it wasn’t good. I don’t leave bad reviews lightly as I am a server and cook and understand how food business works and was overall not okay with what they gave us. Will not be going back as well as would Not recommend going there.

Nice family owned business. Good food and good people. My go to place for Mexican food. Everything I’ve tried here is delicious. Plus free chips and salsa with your meal.

Went there for dinner with the family. We sat for almost 20 minutes before she took our order. Food was cold and tasted off … the bathroom was dirty and filled with trash. The draft beer was warm. When we got the bill it was astronomical when we tried to have her double check she kept saying no it’s right it’s right it was just register tape and what she wrote not an itemized receipt that we could look at to make sure it was what we actually ordered. Never again.

It was disgusting. The tacos tasted horrible the tamales tasted oily and old.
The chulpa is not a chulpa it’s a torsedo. The enchiladas were dry, unflavored and sadly super disappointing. They charged 3.00$ extra for taco sauce and sour cream that I had to ask for 3.00$ each btw!
Our margaritas really extremely good!! And the chips and salsa were really good!
When me and my boyfriend did the math it came up to 35$ how the hell was it 75$???? We’re did the extra charges come from??? And when we asked the just yelled at us wouldn’t even give us a explanation or nothing so we just paid and left.
We were so so sick the next 3 days after taking a few bites out of this trash.
Not to mention the table next to us had a super sweet autistic boy probably about 12 sweetest kid you could meet. And his dad was getting wasted and was yelling and screaming at him slammed his son’s head into the table talked about sexual things with him and every time the boy nicely asked him to stop the dad would freak out. Mom just sat there and watched and said nothing and the waiters/waitress said absolutely nothing.
I felt so bad for the poor sweet boy.
I will never ever in my life eat here ever again.

This place is always very consistently excellent. I absolutely can’t understand why its never busy when I go in, but it must be the location. The servers are always super friendly and efficient. The fajitas are excellent, as is everything. Its standard Mexican fare but everything is always good and served super hot. We love Good Tequila’s!

If you are in Pekin and crave Mexican, do yourself a favor and just go to Hacienda. Service at Good Tequila’s was absolutely awful. In addition to our personal service lacking, we also witnessed multiple customers standing for extended periods of time for take out food without being greeted-only to just be pointed to their food sitting on a table once they were finally acknowledged. Hot sauce was an up charge and we had to request it but it was house made and pretty good, so worth it. The rest of the food left something to be desired. We will never be back.

This actually bums me out to write this. GT is usually one of my absolute favorite places to eat. Tonight was not a good experience. The food was ok. My sister’s steak was burnt and tasted like it. There was something odd on my burrito, which was not in the description. My daughter asked for a daiquiri, as it clearly stated on their menu, they had, “margaritas & daiquiris”…all the lady said was “no” my daughter tried clarifying if they just didn’t have rum, lady said “no” very snotty. My daughter asks again, trying to understand, again “no”. I then point out the “margaritas & daiquiris” on the menu and she completely ignored me. The gentleman who seated us and brought our food was very nice. We all needed refills and didn’t even get approached about a refill until she brought our check. She was nowhere to be found. Asking for refills seemed to bother her. My daughter, who has a 4 year old autistic son, and a 2 month old son, asked for a to go cup for the refill, since we had waited so long, that seemed to annoy the lady. Asked for boxes to take home our leftovers….that seemed to annoy her. She just did not seem like she cared for us or the public. We are nice people, we are not rude, and the restaurant was not that busy, so this was very bothersome. Like I said, GT is normally one of my absolute go to’s. Even taking my special education class there to eat on a class outing. Perhaps I’ll just stick to the Grand Prairie location, even though this location is 3 minutes from my house

Awful service! We ordered DoorDash and when they sent the wrong food i called and let them know. The lady said no, you got the right food. When I tried to explain that the burrito dinner was not right and did not have a taco, she hung up on me. We should have ordered hacienda’s. We won’t make that mistake again!

The first & surely last time I’ll go, it was all around a poor experience. I would sincerely give it “0” stars if I could.
First impression, cleanliness & food:
We were seated with a fairly dirty seat & table. The people behind us were served first, though the host was the server & should have known better. Not a big deal. The salsa was very watery & tasted horrible & bland. Chips were also not tasty. I used the restroom which was filthy with ants running around & dirty fingerprints over everything you could reach. Got back to my table & another ant greeted me. We got our food & it was also terribly bland & unappetizing. The beans were very runny & flavorless & the steak was gainy & tasted cheap.
Service:
The server hardly checked on us & we kept having to wait for drink refills. The folks who were seated after us relieved a more timely service. At one point, we overheard the server saying she didn’t know the drink specials when a customer asked. How can it be a tequila hot-spot yet the servers don’t know the drink menu? Once we got our check and headed to the counter to check out, we waited again for a while until the cashier showed up. He asked how it was & I very politely said, “Not very good”. Little did he know I was putting it quite mildly. He completely IGNORED my response & never said another word. No reason to tip after that as I found that extremely inconsiderate & unprofessional. I would have considered it had he addressed my complaint in a reasonable manner.
You could not pay me to visit this place again.
