Wow! I had such an amazing delivery experience. Food arrived promptly and delivery driver was very friendly. Not to mention such a chill order taker guy! Dinner was so tasty and flavorful. I ordered the Mongolian beef and shrimp egg rolls. The portions were more than enough and the taste and tenderness was what I really hoped for when ordering the dish. I hope I don’t sound like AI or a fake post, because there are some bad reviews. I read them after ordering, so glad I did. No regrets great food, and restaurant level delivery. Nostalgia in your mouth give it a try!

This restaurant’s food is always delicious when I get it! It is a good everyday restaurant; not fancy/luxury, just offering the core staple Asian options thatost people like.

I ordered sweet and sour chicken combo and fried wontons. The combo was good, although way too much onions in the rice. The fried wontons were rock solid. Dark dark brown and completely inedible. Lost money unfortunately.

I’ve been to Good Taste a few times since I’ve moved here and it’s been great! I usually get the general tso’s chicken and the flavor is on point. They always have my order out in under 10 min, which I really appreciate. It is also rather affordable when compared to the spots around it. Good, reliable spot!

I started going there as a VCU student and never outgrew it. Tasty, inexpensive, large servings, open late. When I’m in the neighborhood, I’ll stop there every time for a BBQ chicken special with fried rice. EVERY TIME. If I’m not hungry, I’ll take it home.

Worst general Tso’s tofu I’ve ever had. Practically no flavor. The white rice tastes like Uncle Ben’s. Again, no flavor whatsoever. The spring rolls were… fine, I guess. As good as you can get at the frozen food section. This place would have been out of business anywhere else without a captive audience of car-less college students.

Another classic Chinese takeout near the VCU campus. I got a combination General Tso Chicken and friend dumplings. For these smaller Chinese takeouts, the combination orders ~$10 are usually the main order if you want a filling food for a dinner or lunch.
As someone biased to mediocre Chinese takeout, this does hit the spot without being too expensive and supporting a family-owned business.

I ordered crispy beef and this is what the sent me. I sent them a picture of what I got and they insisted this is the crispy beef but I have ordered it several times before and it’s never looked or tasted this bad. If you’ve ever had their crispy beef you know this is not what it looks like. It’s very greasy and too much breading! I spoke to a very rude associate there trying to get the food remade or refunded. It’s a shame when you support small businesses and they treat their customers like trash and think they can send any thing out to customers. I’ve recommended this place to several friends and family members but I will never again and I will not be going back!
