I was promised it would be the best burger I’ve ever ate but I have to say it was so much more. The Smashburger was the best I’ve ever had. The fries were amazing. But the shake, the Chocolate shake was the best I’ve ever tasted. Holy cow. I wanted to stay and try all the flavors. We came in a large group and I got a lot of pictures but not of the amazing looking chicken strips. Make this shop a priority when in DC!

Specialty burger shop with plenty if indoor seating and a few outdoor tables. I ordered the patty melt and it was cheesy and tasty but was a but lacking in size for the price. The hit dog looked like a better value for a filling meal the price as compared with the burgers.

This is a great spot for a quick bite to eat, and it has fantastic shakes! The burgers were stacked high, and you definitely feel like you are getting your money’s worth. And I want to repeat just how good those shakes are! Don’t stop by Good Stuff without getting a shake.

Stopped in for lunch. Easy to find a table. Food didn’t take too long and was hot and delicious. Love the dipping sauce options. We had eaten at the Georgetown location several years ago and enjoyed it then too.

Wonderful hotdog place, one of the best I have been to. Chilli Dog was absolutely incredible and unique with chilli on top of great sausage with home sause. Range of free sauces is ideal for really good fries in the meal or separate. Only thing it’s a lot of mustard and gherkins on classic hotdog on my individual taste. And maybe more modern design and some reparations to the main dining would be ideal.

I had really high hopes walking past this place in the morning, went by for lunch. Fries were undergone and limp/soggy/soft. Needed about 90 more seconds in the fryer. Shake left a plastic film like aftertaste and I couldn’t drink more than a 3rd of it. Unfortunately no good stuff for lunch today.

Formal Complaint Regarding Service Experience at Capitol Hill Location
Dear Good Stuff Eatery Management,
I am a frequent customer at your Capitol Hill location, but I recently had a deeply upsetting experience that I feel compelled to bring to your attention.
During my last visit, I ordered a burger and was surprised at how quickly it was prepared—almost immediately after placing the order. While I normally appreciate efficient service, the speed in this case made me question whether the food was freshly prepared, as your brand promises. When I respectfully requested that my burger—and my partner’s—be remade, the employee named Alex responded by issuing a refund in a manner that felt dismissive and disrespectful. He simply placed the money down and walked away without a word.
This interaction left both my partner and me feeling humiliated in front of other customers and staff. We were treated as though our request for properly prepared food was unreasonable. I left the restaurant feeling hurt, disrespected, and unwelcome—experiences no customer should endure.
I am seriously considering pursuing legal action due to the way we were treated, which I believe constitutes both negligence and possible discrimination.
I hope you take this complaint seriously and look into both the food preparation practices and the conduct of your staff. I would appreciate a formal response regarding how this situation will be addressed.
