The quality of the food, the attentive service, and the overall dining atmosphere all exceeded my expectations and made the experience truly memorable.
The meat here is exceptionally fresh, especially the thick-cut pork belly. Once grilled, it turns beautifully golden with a crispy exterior while staying tender and juicy inside. The flavors are rich and satisfying—exactly what you want from good Korean BBQ. I also loved the variety of vegetables and mushrooms placed around the grill; cooking them together with the meat adds wonderful aroma and texture, making every bite more enjoyable.
The side dishes are another highlight. The kimchi, pickled radish, and small salads are all well-balanced and refreshing. They complement the grilled meat perfectly without overpowering the flavors. A must-order item is the Korean steamed egg, which arrives piping hot, fluffy, and topped with melted cheese—comforting and delicious.
Service at Good Nine is equally impressive. The staff are friendly, attentive, and very helpful. They frequently check on tables, change grill plates, and even assist with grilling when needed. Despite the restaurant being quite busy and lively, the service remains efficient and welcoming.
Overall, Good Nine Korean BBQ delivers a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere—perfect for gatherings with friends or family. If you love Korean BBQ, this spot is absolutely worth visiting!
Servers are really nice, they help cook the meats for you. I really like that they have a side grill to place your cooked meats on so that they dont burn but stay warm.
This is a good place to come to eat and drink 🙂
The staff did cook the pork belly at our table, which was nice, but when it came to the fried rice, things got a little disappointing. After we noticed we had too much rice already, we asked if we could cancel the fried rice. Unfortunately, we were told we couldn’t cancel it since the ingredients were already placed under the table—yet they had just been sitting there for around 15 minutes while we waited for someone to come back and cook it. Ideally, the fried rice should have been prepared right after the pork belly instead of leaving us waiting and then not allowing a cancellation.
Overall, the food itself was tasty, especially the pork belly and tofu seafood soup, but the service could be improved by better communication about what’s included in the sets and by being more mindful of timing when cooking in front of customers.
The service was great too!! love everything!
restaurant, and it went beyond our expectations! The atmosphere was unique and adorable. We ordered the pork belly and kimchi stew, and our server, Rachel was absolutely amazing—so attentive and friendly. She grilled our pork belly perfectly: crispy on the outside yet juicy inside! Highly recommend this place, especially for first-timers, since the staff cooks the meat for you. No need to worry about overcooking or burning it!
The staff were very friendly, their grilling skills were excellent. If you’re looking for great Korean BBQ with a pleasant atmosphere, I highly recommend this place. And don’t forget to try their naengmyeon—it’s a must!
