Absolutely stunning cafe in mt Vernon. Good drinks with a gorgeous interior and exterior. Plenty of seating, good for studying and serving as a community space. The owners seem like genuine wonderful people who really demonstrate their mission here. It feels like a hidden oasis inside the city. Absolute gem of a place in Baltimore.

I had a business meeting at 10:30 on a Tuesday. The service was great, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. After we placed our order we sat outside, what a delightful space! I know they had no control over the weather, but this was the perfect place to be on a beautiful day. LOVE!!!!

A lovely café with a great selection of coffee and tea options. They offer a small but delicious variety of pastries, sourced from Kneads Bakery. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for catching up with a friend or getting some work done. There’s also a small library and a charming shop featuring local and unique food items, pottery, and cups—definitely worth browsing. We tried the smoked maple cappuccino and the hojicha latte—both were excellent. Absolutely worth a visit and might just become one of your regular spots!

Four stars based on two visits: first visit was pleasant (drink quality was fine but not great), second visit one of the people I was with ordered the toast pictured below and it tasted unpleasant.
Overall, customer service is good but not on par with a 5-star shop. Drink quality both times was not bad, but was also not on par with a 5-star shop. The vibe is definitely interesting with two somewhat competing themes going on, but still is a nice place to sit and do some work or hangout with friends (thus my 4-star review). This is still a pretty good shop and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed as long as you’re not anticipating a 5-star experience in terms of quality and service.
