Well, they sure named their business correctly. Everything supports a good mood….I’ll take you through it.
Start with a schnazzy atmosphere, which is quickly topped by super friendly staff…but wait, there’s more! Then you get the drink….and then the good mood which it always teetering on great is rounded off by some breakfast sandwiches.. I did the Jalapeño garden….every other review is right…
Then when I thought it could not get better, I went and listened to others and got the pop tart….I may move here from Wisconsin because of this little coffee shop.

I stopped here after hearing about it from a friend. It was a good suggestion. It’s a very pleasant cafe with a calm atmosphere, and the coffee seemed good. I got an affogato, and it was very tasty. The ice cream was a bit icier than I’d like, but it melted well with the espresso. My friend said his coffee was good too. I’d stop by again if I was nearby looking for coffee.

One of the best local coffee shops in town, love that they offer real food options and make their own dough for the baked goods. The pizza was delicious, but very heavy/filling. We each could only eat a slice before being stuffed. Coffees were delicious also, loved that the espresso wasn’t too fruity or bitter. However, the guy working the front was not very kind or personable and when we would try to make small talk he would walk off. I also think some blinds in the windows would be helpful, as all the tables by the front windows have sun that hits directly down on the tables making it too hot and too bright to sit there or to be able to use a computer there. Additionally, it hits down on the baked goods hanging and sitting by the front window and some of them had condensation. Otherwise a wonderful place that hopefully stays in business for a long time to come!

Love this place. Such a quaint vibe and such friendly people. The drinks are delicious and the pastries are delightful. We have loved their breakfast additions. Have always loved the jalapeno cheddar bagel breakfast sandwich but recently ventured in to try the biscuits and gravy and breakfast pizza. Both were amazing and honestly you can’t go wrong with any of their mouthwatering choices. We also tried their pizza for dinner last week and the flavor
Combinations are great and unique.

The breakfast bagel was amazing. The hot honey added an extra flavor that I highly recommend. I asked for sausage but got bacon instead. I was not disappointed at all. The bacon was fresh cooked and nice and chewy the way I like it. Only disappointment is that my table was dirty with crumbs and drink stains, however, bathroom was clean.

So let’s start off with I’ve never been to this place before. I still have not been to this place and until today I didn’t know it existed. I work for a tire company in Byron center, And on 9/6/25 we had a customer with an electric blue car come in to our shop for a set of tires. {She will know who she is} a friend of the owner of this bakery. She was carrying a large bag with the bakeries logo on the side, as I was checking her in she handed me the bag and said I’m not sure what all they put in here but I brought you and your team a bunch of stuff from my friend’s bakery. So what’s a tire guy to do. I went straight away for the jalapeno bagel with cheese on top. I’m here to tell you best bagel I have ever had The jalapenos actually had heat The cheese was flavorful The bread was perfect. Long story short my crew finished the bag minus a couple of things that looked a little too healthy for them which then went on to my wife which she thought was amazing.
I am sad that I did not know about this place prior to now. Thank you to our customer for bringing these to us.
Thank you to Good mooed Cafe for making this for us.
My wife has a little studio that just opened up two days ago in Caledonia I know how hard it is to start a place and keep it going. We will definitely be coming back for more baked goods and supporting your business. Thank you all for your generosity and Thank you From the Byron center Wonderland tire crew. Sorry no pic of the jalapeno bagel. I ate it already.

The lattes are always top notch! The breakfast sandwiches are incredible, particularly the jalapeño bagel with sausage, egg and cheese. I’ve also been loving the 4-corner pizza on their menu. 10/10 would recommend you stopping by to check them out!

Good Mooed Cafe definitely put my husband and I in a good mood! Our coffees were delicious, just the right amount of sweetness to balance the coffee. We also ordered breakfast sandwiches which arrived hot, cheesy and SO good. Bagels are made in house and you can tell! We will most definitely be back for coffee and breakfast!

The best cookie I’ve ever had. Entire selection of baked goods looked tremendous. I didn’t find the coffee to be as comparably stellar, but good enough for a standard cup.

This place is a hidden gem. Excellent customer service, the owner is super friendly, the facility is clean and inviting, and the coffee and baked goods are incredible! Thoughtfully made and delicious. I’ve stopped in multiple times for their Asiago bagel (best I’ve ever had) and today tried an Iced Bonfire Latte. It was delicious. They have a diverse fall drink menu, with creative flavor combinations you can’t get from a chain. I brought my two little ones today and they loved the bagels. 100% recommend!
