What a fantastic find! My husband and I stumbled upon this BBQ spot, and it was exactly what we needed – delicious, no-frills BBQ. From the warm welcome to the amazing BBQ sauce (seriously, it’s a game-changer with fries!), we were thoroughly impressed and lets not forget the Big Red on tap (thats not gound in UT) that was the cherry on top for me. Great place for a good meal at a great price! Been coming here since I was a little tot! It has never disappointed me. I had the cheeseburger basket. Delicious! They have a variety of food. Highly recommended.
Take it to go – it’s small & old. You will enjoy it better at home. They have great daily specials!

I just visited Good Luck Drive-In in Fort Worth and was honestly blown away. We came for the Monday special which was half a chicken with fries, toast and beans. The food was almost a 10 out of 10. So good, especially for the price which was only about $6. Service was super fast even during dinner time and everyone was really friendly. The atmosphere is old school and has not been updated, but if you do not mind that, the food completely makes up for it. In and out, great portion, great flavor. Definitely worth trying.

Yesterday a friend of mine ( that I have known for many many years. Though never met in person) and I decided to meet for lunch. He is an hour and a half a way and logistically the sands of time was never in our favor to be able to meet in person. But yesterday, we made the time to have lunch and catch up. Of course as a native Texan, I have been to Ft. Worth many times. But like most places, just because you’ve been there many times or even all your life, there are places that you’ve never been. Well my friend suggested “Good Luck”. He reminisced about all the times he ate there “back in the day” and how good it was. It sounded great to me, and I was all in. He arrives a little before I get there. We walk into the establishment and was instantly greeted by the gentlemen who was cooking the food. The young lady came to register and asked what we would like to eat. I let my friend order first, as he was familiar with the establishment. She then asked me. Now usually when I go to these Mom and Pop places, I ask the employees what their favorite things to eat there are. And I usually pick that. This time she gave me three of her favorites. The BBQ chicken ( which they are famous for), the burger, and one other thing that I apologize can’t remember. But since they are famous for their BBQ chicken, I’m going with that. It comes with fries, but she told me that if I didn’t want the fries, I can substitute them for another side. I asked her how the cole slaw is. I said because some people can mess up some cole slaw. She smiled and said it’s really good. SOLD. And to top it off, HOT DAMN they serve Kool Aid. Large purple Kool Aid to wash it down. Our food is ready and it looks great to me. The chicken was tender and the cole slaw was great. If I was forced to nit pick, I would say the sauce was a little thinner that I was used to. But it tasted awesome. That was the important part to me, and that is what would bring me back if I’m ever in the area again. Good food, friendly staff, and great prices. What else can you ask for? Oh, and the lemon cake. One word, DAMN!!

Ordered via delivery service. Food is cold and old. Asked for the burger with just cheese, it was fully dressed. Had to scrape off the thick layer of mayo for my son to eat it. Gave the fries from my plate to my son to have with his burger, they’re cold and dry. He likes the milkshake, it is delicious and the salad on my fish plate is good. Salad has way more dressing than lettuce though. Otherwise, a waste of my cheat meal and money

I’ve been eating here since I was a little girl and nothing makes me feel more at home than Good Luck. The bbq chicken with the sauce on the fries and toast is top tier. Such great prices too. Spidari was such a gem and is missed dearly. Thank you good luck for always having amazing food and service. I moved an hour a way and crave it constantly so it’s a must whenever I’m in town. Try it and you’ll definitely be back!

You really can’t go wrong with a cheeseburger, fries, and drink for under $10. The fries could’ve used some seasoning, but since I got takeout I was able to add some slap ya mama seasoning at home. The taste of the burger makes me think of something you’d get at a backyard cookout, which I love. I plan to come back and give other menu items a try sometime.
