The pancake basically taste like Bisquick with ricotta cheese mixed into it not the best, smelled was a little off putting as well. Potatoes were good. Coffee’s okay. Chai tea is okay they use Tazo a brand you can buy at the store. The sausage has the Mexican flair to it the spice. Not too much of a fan looking for old school country gravy and sausage. Entryway in the layout of the place is horrible. You walk in you’re in a funnel waiting to get up to the ordering desk. You don’t know what you’re supposed to do there’s no information You feel lost. Then once you order you have to take a number and try to find a seat kind of like an old fast food McDonald’s. You can’t get your silverware they bring it out to you with the food but you have to ask for more cuz they only bring you the bare minimum. Atmospheres very chaotic.
Everything is good and very decadent. The French toast is basically funnel cake. I mistook the whipped topping as butter and almost ruined the dish by not using more on the bread.
The chicken fried steak is gorgeous and complex. Very generous portion. The potatoes are the crispiest, greasiest, lightest all at once.
The pancakes taste like cake. It’s just amazing.
Would definitely come back next time we are in town!
Overall, it was a very nice space with good vibe. Service was inconsistent – the first person we interacted with didn’t welcome us and acted like it was time for them to find a new job. Everyone else after that was extremely friendly and almost overcompensated. We were able to get a table easily without waiting.
Bloody Mary was decent, but not amazing. Smoked Salmon breakfast sandwich was okay, but we’ve had better. I wasn’t a huge fan of the breakfast burrito…it was a bit dry (I had to ask for a side of sour cream). Overall, I’d probably come back but would definitely order different items.
