Finally tried this place because on folks IG hyped their mumbo sauce. Got 5 wings with fries. Wings and fries were fresh. Man my only complaint was this “very mid” mumbo sauce. Their mumbo sauce ain’t seeing some of the city legendary mumbo sauce spots at all. 4 stars because that sauce disappointed me.

This is DEFINITELY one of the better carry outs in DC. They have the BEST Egg Foo Yung, reasonable prices and they are polite. In addition, you can actually SEE them preparing your food from the lobby.
Update: The original owners have sold the restaurant. The new owners must have changed the recipes. The taste and quality of the food has gone WAY down.

Update food was last year old, the wings are not fresh. I couldn’t bite it. Too hard.threw it out. What a waste and they charge to not put fries in same container. Don’t think ilk be back, unless they get back to how it was fresh
