We ordered lunch specials (chicken and broccoli, sesame chicken) which come with a choice of wonton soup or egg drop soup. We also ordered egg rolls and fried dumplings.
Egg rolls were $2 a pop and tasted like they’d been rolled a few months ago, they were not crispy and the inner filling was not tasty.
Fried dumplings were burnt and the smell of burnt food filled our kitchen when we opened the container. There was a lot of pork within, but the burnt exterior overwhelmed any other taste the dish had to offer, dipped in the included sauce or not.
Chicken and broccoli had virtually no sauce and it seems the chefs idea was to cook the chicken real hot and expect the rest of the vegetables (why there were carrots and peas, I don’t know) to steam within the container. This resulted in dry chicken which occasionally offered a hard nodule in my teeth similar to sand or thick salt. This was brutal and is the first time I’ve thrown away my lunch in many years. The white rice was fine, tasted a little plasticky due to the overheating of the chicken and packaging. The included wonton soup lacked flavor and tasted like salty water. The scallions were crunchy and oniony, which leads me to believe the broth wasn’t hot enough to throw raw scallions in.
My wife isn’t a complainer and I didn’t try her sesame chicken but she also threw half of her food out and said “our search for good Chinese food continues”
Pickup showed the restaurant was clean but food was not ready in the quoted time frame.

Stopped here for take-out after shopping. A very clean dining area. The order was prepared in a timely manner. The access and seating is handicapped friendly. My lunch was good.The Shrimp fried rice was packed with Shrimp

Very nice people that work there, they give a large amount of food. For a vegetarian, they offer everything. They do not skimp on the vegetables.

I really want to be able to give this place a good review, but one too many times they’ve messed up our order. I order food for a family of 4+ all the time. So our total always comes to $60+. 1-3 items are ALWAYS missing from my order. Basically a waste of money almost every time I’ve ordered to-go. And it’s such a hassle to drive there again, that I just don’t go back to get the item. Today for example, I ordered $65 worth of food. Come home to find out that 2 whole orders of chicken wings are missing. My fiancée had to drive all the way back to get it (> $10 worth of wings).
The food itself is fine. The rice is often quite dry though – and so is the chicken. I guess it’s fine to get quick food from here if you are only ordering 1 or 2 things and just want a quick meal. But if you want a dinner, there are better Chinese spots around this area that’ll be better – with better service.

Food made my family and I sick to the stomach. They put chicken and broccoli(3) in cartons which drained out into the bag by the time we got home. Food tasted like the smell of trash…..what the heck. Waste of money.

Place is just about the best Chinese you are going to find in the area. Consistently first class food. Check out the Hong Kong soups with homemade noodles, the Pad Thai, the Thai fried rice and plenty of other great dishes.

Lady who answers phone is just fine. Her English is not perfect, but she is very professional. They are a small place, sometimes they get slammed with orders. She isn’t rude, she is just busy. If you have problems, just speak slower and more clearly. Been ordering from them for 10 years. Not only never had a real problem, but they frequently give us a free soup or order of sweet rice.

One of my favorite fast food restaurants in Union! I ordered three dishes for myself and enjoyed all of them. They seem to be tastier than other fast food restaurants in the city.
Definitely try the scallion pancakes, fried chicken wings, and chicken and broccoli.
