Great food, great service, and a clean and safe environment make this place a winner for breakfast.
I picked up the sweet potato pancakes, which I’ve never seen on the menu before, and my wife had the biscuits and gravy. The sweet potato pancakes were like buttermilk pancakes, but with sweet potato bits in them, and they were delicious. Biscuits and gravy tasted just like biscuits and gravy at any other restaurant, but it wasn’t bad.
My wife also have the Bloody Mary. It was rated as a 7 out of 10. Not bad, but it also didn’t have enough spice and way too much ice.
Restrooms were nice and clean and comfortable to use.
Buyer beware: this place has a line on Sundays constantly, so arrive 25 to 30 minutes early in order to accommodate the wait time for the line.

We found Good Evan’s through Google Maps while traveling west on I-80.
Our server, Kedric T, was excellent. He was polite, knowledgeable about the food, friendly, and efficient. Go Kedric!
The food, which arrived with little delay, was delicious in every way. I, because I’d never had it before, ordered the Shrimp & Cheesy Grits with Andouille sausage, yum! My husband got the GE Omelette with a pancake on the side; and he also said it was great. We also both had coffees, and at some cafe’s it’s pretty bad, but this was very good.
We’d definitely eat there again if driving through!!

Wow! What a gem! Service was fabulous! Thanks, Thomas! Food was absolutely delicious. And I had the gluten free pancakes. What an awesome treat! My husband loved his biscuits and gravy. Truly an awesome start to a final day on a cross-country move. We couldn’t have started it better!

Wow! What a winner! We stopped at Good Evans on the way from Denver for my grandkids tournament, and it did not disappoint. I’ve never eaten at this chain before and I’m so glad we tried it. The sweet potato pancakes were moist, and the chicken sausage juicy to perfection. All our plates were empty at the end. Also the restaurant atmosphere and aesthetics were delightful, and to top it off, our server Michelle was friendly personable and knowledgeable regarding menu recommendations. Thank you Good Evans for a welcomed break on our road trip. P.S. please open a location in Denver!!!!

If I could give Good Evans in Kearney 10* I would! Traveling through the area we found this restaurant on Google maps; good rating and home-cooked food. My husband and I were blown away by the service (Ryan), the food, and the atmosphere. Ryan was one of the most engaging servers we have ever had during our travels. The food (breakfast pie and coffee were top-notch. The atmosphere reflected the V (vibes) in the restaurant name. I don’t do many reviews, but felt I needed to for this restaurant. Well done! We would recommend to anyone traveling to the Kearney area!!

Good Evens did not disappoint! Always great service and amazing food! Our waiter’s name is Thomas, and let me tell you, this kid was on top of it! He had my to go coffee, ready and waiting for me! I highly recommend this place. Whoever you get for a wait service is going to be exceptional!!

Nice little breakfast gem not far from the highway. We were just passing through but wanted a decent meal before heading back on the road. Had about a 20 minute wait which was pretty good for how many people were waiting.
Our server was good and the food was great! It was hard to choose from the menu because so many things looked good.ended up choosing the pork belly mac and cheese. The sriracha and cheese blended with the salty pork belly worked really well together. Would definitely like to go back and try some of the other offerings.

Everything about this restaurant has been approached thoughtfully, from the overall layout, to the quality of the materials used in the construction. First thing I noticed is that it’s easy to have a conversation here as there is space between the tables and the other patrons conversations don’t intrude on yours.
Next, I had a direct view back to the server prep area and cooking stations. Even though things got busy, everything seemed very calm and orderly for the employees. No chaos, no running into each other.
And the food that came out was plentiful, delicious, and very reasonably priced!
