Highly recommend. I went there once before and was happy to see it did not have a typical eastern shore menu, but rather catered to simply good food prepared well. I was happy that they had soups that were not just the typical “crab” choices. The café sits off of the garden porch, adjacent to the grocery area and kitchen. A unique cozy set up. Food choices are excellent, fresh, prepared, in-house, and delicious I had the chickpea Sammie. And chicken vegetable soup…my husband had the daily special short rib sandwich. it was my birthday and I was gifted an incredible dessert chocolate brownie dessert unexpectedly.
Our server, Ian, attentive and delightful was on point. The café itself, although I appreciated the atmosphere is a little small, a little noisy when full, and probably better enjoyed in the summer and warmer weather than the winter especially if you would like to step outside and enjoy the outdoor gardens. If you’re a picky eater like me, or have any special dietary needs, you’ll appreciate the options.

Very good meal at this “unique” eatery. The food quality was truly excellent and our service was outstanding. However, be warned. 1) be sure to secure a reservation on a weekend and pay attention to where your reservation is. We ended up at a very unstable high-top in the bar, surrounded by store shelves and refrigerators. It’s always frustrating to be told there is no room on the patio only to see empty tables sitting there during our entire visit. 2) the food was fresh and well-prepared. But beware – the menu was a bit limited. My wife does not eat seafood and did not have many choices for her dinner. She went with the “daily” chicken and was not disappointed.

Good Earth is one of our favorite restaurants when we visit the area. We drove from Rehoboth this year to have dinner there. Fantastic veggie options. I had a cup of the mushroom soup. We had the Mediterranean Lentil and Thai Veggie Bowl entree’s.

Good Earth Market Restaurant was AMAZING! If I could give it 10 stars as a rating I would. We sat outside in an sunroom-type area and they had heaters going and it was EXTREMELY nice and toasty in there (in a GREAT way). Ian was my server last night for my party of 3 people and he was awesome. He knew the menu really well and recommended really tasty dishes to me and my parents last night. I got the side Caesar Salad as my starter dish and the stuffed flounder with lobster tail meat inside that came with a side of mashed fingerling potatoes and grilled asparagus and it was DELICIOUS! My father got the beet salad as his starter and the rockfish special as his entree dish and he was NOT disappointed. My mom got of of the soups of the day which was a butternut squash soup as her starter and for her entree she got a vegetarian dish that came with grilled asparagus as her entree dish and she LOVED it. We had no leftovers to bring home with us for lunchtime so that was a GREAT sign! We went to the little market afterwards and bought some relaxing sprays there. Every staff member was so friendly and ALWAYS had a great big smile on their faces and that made me and my parents happy as well. I would TOTALLY go back there with my parents and extended family in a heartbeat in the summertime and eat outside at the patio area there. Good Earth Market Restaurant, you DID NOT let me and my parents down or let us leave without AMAZING great quality food in our tummies. I will be back for sure and DEFINITELY ask for Ian as my server again. This place was AWESOME! ☺️

yes, yes, yes. First visit but will be back. Worth the 40 minute drive from Lewes! Wish we had places with this vibe, service and food. So enjoyable!

Excellent, fresh, creative and absolutely delicious! A foodie place where the chef hasn’t forgotten the food for the sake of ‘foodieness.’ Highly recommend the mushroom soup, charcuterie board, smoked fish board, lobster roll, beet salad and caramel machiatto cake. We come every year and it gets better every year! Service also very good. Keep up the good work!

If I could add a couple extra stars here, I would do so without hesitation! This little gem- a hybrid market, restaurant, inn and campgrounds- is exactly what I needed to get my mind right in the midst of a whirlwind 3 day vacation in Bethany Beach.
Menu stays true to the venue concept: clean delectable plates showcasing seasonable produce from locally-sourced vendors. Everything was well-plated, fresh, and simply perfect. Our server was knowledgeable, sweet, and well-timed. She had no hesitation going the extra mile to find some chocolate for me to add to my açaí bowl- I truly appreciated that effort!
We opted to sit outside to get the garden feel and I don’t regret it. Janis Joplin was playing and my Purple Haze cocktail was a piece of art in itself.
Do not miss this paradisiacal experience!

Dinner is consistently good but I cannot recommend lunch. The lobster roll was so disappointing. It was small, the bread was dry and crumbly and the lobster had no dressing. I live nearby and keep hoping that it will change but today was my last lunch visit.

Over the course of 4 days my wife and I ate here 4 times and had some of the best food we’ve ever eaten in our lives, period. It might seem obvious that such fresh vegetables and fruit are available to a restaurant with a garden attached to it, but the way every dish was prepared, especially salads, was transcendent. The beet salad was superb, and the pork was perfectly prepared. More importantly, the service at every meal was friendly, warm, welcoming, and perfectly accommodating to our infant daughter. Special kudos to staff members Dante and the maitre d’ Jessica who went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. We originally came to this area for the beach, but will gladly drive 2.5 hours again in the future simply to eat at this restaurant.
