Good day cafe has recently opened in a location that has historically had a lot of turn around. They’re renovated everything – everything is clean, it smells like nothing (which is good). The table, chairs, and booths are all new. It was a good choice to renovate everything. The menu has a lot of options and is pretty friendly to the picky family. They don’t have hash browns which I was skeptical of, but the baby red potatoes are actually similar to hash browns and are delicious. I had the breakfast burrito with 1 slice of the cinnamon roll french toast, and my husband had an meat lovers omelette with a side of sour dough toast. Their homemade 4 berry jam is delicious, and honestly all of the food was really good. The French toast was good as well but I was not a fan of the frosting/syrup that comes with it (it was a cream cheese base it seemed like). The restaurant was refreshingly cold. The dinner black coffee was hot and fresh. The service was a little slower than normal, but that may be because our server was about to be cut and I am sure she had other duties to fulfill. The manager/host/owner? lady was really nice. All of the servers and hosts were attentive and helpful with smiles on their faces. This is a nice little place and I hope it stays around longer than the previous businesses that have been in this location.

Food took a little bit too get there, but it was PACKED, and for good reason. I have the Florentine and it was too die for. The baby reds are so flavorful but they don’t feel too “heavy” as hash browns would. I’m definitely going to go back. I loved my waitress as well.

Food has a good presentation. West Bend needs more breakfast and brunch places, I’m happy to have this establishment! I came in for breakfast with a friend, went to pick up my son from school for lunch, and came right back the same hour 🙂

When we arrived we were greeted right away and sat! Our server Kaitlyn came up and asked for drink orders a while after we were sitting. All was good, our drinks took some time but understandable with the business in the restaurant. We ordered our food and I asked for gluten free toast. By the time our food got there she mentioned my toast would be coming out soon. I waited the whole meal for the toast and never got that and we didn’t see our server until the end of our meal. She didn’t check on us once and then asked us if we needed boxes before even asking how our food was. We then got the bill without her asking if we needed anything else when we had empty drink glasses and I still hadn’t gotten my toast. Of course on the bill I was charged for the toast, 2 dollars, which isn’t horrible but I don’t want to pay for something I never received. The food itself was delicious but the service was horrible. We weren’t feeling like waiting for the bill to be reconciled because we weren’t sure when we would see our server again and we had other things we needed to get to. I would go again but if I was with the same server I would want to leave.

Quick, friendly service. My son and I both ordered the Santa Fe Wrap. We both thought they were very flavorful and delicious. Would definitely order again and return based on the food and service. First time here since it opened. Impressed by all the changes and updated decor. Had recommendations from two couples who have eaten here. Keep it up!!!

This restaurant just opened recently, so we were expecting a few bumps in the road. We were greeted immediately and seated right away. Our servers were so friendly and the menu had so many delicious and unique options!

The food was delicious! LOADED with flavor! Prices are reasonable! When we arrived on Sunday it was very busy but we can see why! Ordered the steak skillet and it was AMAZING! Fruit Mimosa is total worth it!! Can’t wait to go back!!

Good Day Cafe is an okay restaurant. Pancakes were a little hard and the fruit bowl was supposed to be potatoes. Refills on coffee is slow at times and they charge an extra fee to use a credit card. Compared to other restaurants in the area there cost are about 2 to 3 percent higher for the same selections before the credit card fees.
