I used to go to gonza pretty regularly, but hadn’t been in a really long time, probably years. Checked it out again, and it was just as solid as ever. Steak tacos, tortilla soup, chips n’ salsa, mole, all were great. Drinks were solid too.
I probably wouldn’t get the chorizo app again, but it was really tasty as well (pic attached)
I used to feel like it was pretty overpriced, but given how much everything has gone up, and gonza really hasn’t, it actually felt like a pretty good value now. I’ll definitely be back.

This was my first time at this location. The steak tacos were smaller than expected but ended up being the perfect size. The steak had so much flavor and was delicious. I had a side of lime rice which came out more green than I expected but the taste was good. The staff was friendly but the service was slower than I would have liked. Overall the food was great and I would eat here again.

What a cool place! The spicy margarita was fantastic. The salsa was great. I had the Chili releno with pork. It’s very meat heavy which I didn’t expect but it was great! Every staff member we interacted with was exceptional. The decor and music is so fun! Will absolutely be back.

I went a couple of times to have an accurate review, here are my takeaway notes.
Drinks:
– My favorite here was the Top Shelf Margarita. For those who like Margaritas this one is similar to the Tommy’s Marg.
– The classic ones are good especially the passion fruit one.
– Rosemary Paloma is Nice but it depends on your taste.
Appetizers:
– Armadillo Eggs are by far the best! Note: its not eggs.
– Colombian Sushi is VERY good too.
– the Colombian Chorizo is good if you like sausage
Foods:
– Tacos are great
– El platano is very good is a big sweet plantain with meat and cheese in it
– Chilaquiles Verdes by far the best.
Overall 10/10 Music is great, atmosphere is great Luca the server was amazing.

The good: food came out quick, atmosphere was awesome and fun, and the staff were amazing
The con: It is so overpriced for the portion sizes you receive. We were dissuaded from ordering specific items because of the passive aggressive “descriptions” (tall blonde foreigner that doesn’t know anything??) I ordered the Carne Asada tacos (3 tacos with a side) and the tacos were quite literally Lunchable size. Order was $71 for this, I just don’t see the appeal.
It could be a cute spot to get chips and a drink, but the portion to price ratio is baffling.

We were happily surprised with Gonza, a Mexican restaurant witha Colombian flair, if you ask me, it is a match made in heaven. The food was delicious. I would recommend trying the “Mexican flag enchiladas”. The decor is awesome, the music was fire. And if you ask my children, “they have the coolest bathroom!”

This place took me by surprise…I’ve heard great things about it but going and experience it for myself was awesome. The serve was beyond great. Our server Camden, wow what a cool guys, friendly, knowledgeable and give some great recommendations on what to eat. You can definitely go here for a date, girls’ night or with a group kids included. There were little kids in there but it added nothing but joys to the entire atmosphere. When we walked in it was bigger than we thought with lots of seating. Parking was a bit of a hassle…maybe because it was a Friday night and it was hard to find the front door when we tried to go inside. Other than that everything was great. The fresh salsa and warm chips that was complementary was so good. I order guacamole which was fresh and had larger chunks of avocado. Which was lovely. View my pics for more on the food. #mustgo

Interesting and delicious menu! This was my first time there. I was with several others. Everyone had good things to say about the food and service. They were out of my first choice (empanta), but they worked to find a satisfactory alternative and complementary appetizer. We happened to be here on Wednesday margaritas special day. Good selection of tequila. Very helpful and friendly bartender. I will return to try some of the other menu choices. Good location.
